I was going to add JJ to the four I mentioned. Need more scoring out of these core young guys and Tuch.

It’s hard to keep the winning ways going without Quinn and Cozens putting the puck in the net. Between those two, Tuch and Benson, we need more goals.

Benson has the right competitive energy. I hope it spreads to the rest of the young guys.

If we can just get him and Quinn firing again, we’ll be potentially scary. Just imagine those two really rolling… I think it is just a matter of time. Cozens to find his confidence again, and Quinn to remember how friggin good he is—both mentally and his body. Those weren’t small injuries. Having to be patient sucks rn, but I think it’s needed. Let’s just hope they come back to form this season.

This team just has the weirdest energy. But a noticeable higher level of grit and not giving up this year.

I guess we need Zucker to remind the team that, yes, you ARE expected to show up every night as a NHL player. Our guys still seem to act like this is hockey fantasy camp. Eradicating this pervasive attitude is going to take everything Ruff has, and more time than we would like.

If he asserts himself like that more often…he’s got all the tools. Shot accuracy could be tightened up a bit although I think he’s trying for the perfect shot versus actually being inaccurate.

Again, we can’t forget what Zucker did to help this team tonight. Burying that breakaway to tie it up late in the second. So huge.
