  1. I started watching, but turned it off when it became 3-1. It appeared the writing was on the wall. They again looked slow, sloppy, and lackadaisical! I went to bed thinking they are ruining Levi and Meatballs has lost the locker room (still not sure he hasn't). It was a pleasant surprise to see that they showed some fortitude and came back against a good team. I realize LA has been slipping lately, but this was the game I expected to lose. I figured we'd go 2-1 on this trip. The problem I have is again another wasted opportunity against a lesser team, losing to the Ducks. If and we should beat the Sharks, with last night's win, we should of went 3-0!! I love that Levi finished strong after an awful start to get the win. JJ and Mitts have been our best players this year! Here they are again, doing just enough to keep me vested and maintain my season tickets! FML!!!

Depends on when, and being “above average” should not be the standard.  He could wait 2-3 more and maybe they develop into a strong tandem.  That doesn’t make it the right way or the best way.

He already did it wrong IMO, by going with the 3 he already had,, not bringing in a true #1, and starting Levi in the NHL immediately.   I doubt many, if any, of the other 31 GMs would have done this.   It would get some of them fired

Habs are doing it with 3 goalies!

They're not going to trade 37 unless he holds them up for more $$ than they can justify.  That seems unlikely given his personality and attachment to his teammates and coach.

The problem here is Dahlin was greedy and he's overpaid by $1.5M to $2M.  26 isn't playing like a top 5 in the league Dman.  He's invisible many games, and those high flip lob outs are just ugly turnovers.  Where is there improvement since last year?  Seems like he has plateaued or even regressed.

WHAT???? This is the most absurd post I have seen since being a part of SS! How is he greedy again? He has earned every bit of his contract. He is our best player night in and night out. He plays ungodly minutes, constantly take forwards off the puck, has great vision, is an offensive threat every time he has the puck and is a great leader. He constantly has his teammates back on the ice, fighting more than I'd like. The only knock on him is he can be too aggressive trying to make the big play and I wish he was more of a vocal leader. You're right though, he isn't a top 5 Dman, he's a TOP 3 DMAN!!!

    I would do

    Dahlin-R Johnson

    Power-Jokiharju

    Samuelsson with Clifton/Johnson/Johnson rotating

Samuelsson goes back with Dahlin on the games that Ryan Johnson sits

    I would do a 2:1:1 rotation for Eric Johnson:Ryan Johnson:Clifton

I like it, but I like Power w/ Muel even better and drop Joker down.

Don’t force me to start a poll!! I’ve never thought of Krebs as a looker.   Not sure he cracks top 10 on the roster tbh.

    1.  Power - no contest, he makes me blush

    2. Tooch - strong jaw, great hair on top and face

    3. Tage - his face looks like it’s chiseled out of granite, 6’7” to boot

    4. Skinny - boy next door with an incredible sense of humor

    5. Quinn - it’s all about the eyes

    6. JJ - classic German stoic grill

    7. Joki- super symmetrical

    8. Savoie- maybe underrated here, very ethnic looking

I guess this is where is comes down to Krebs, Dahlin, Jost, VO, Clifton.  I think they are all rather pedestrian looking, Rasmus might be a Swedish god, hard to tell how good looking he is under that super pale exterior.

He has 5 games to go.   I don’t see him quitting in the middle of the season. I hope he stays because no one else deserves the C right now.  Platooning him makes sense though and should be done now.

Who deserves the C is the next question.

Dahls and EJ can rock the "C" all day!

I didn't watch last night.  Was Bryson his usual awfulness?

I am not a fan of Bryson to say the least, but in 2 games this season he has played well. He looks much stronger on the boards and the puck and his passing is crisp. I hope he keeps it up as he is obviously well like by the organization.

I didn’t sleep.  Took my wife to the hospital last night, heart trouble.  She is being tested right now and I am waiting …

I must be escaping the stress.  Sleep can wait.

Prayers and good vibes your way.

    Krebs is 1 way

One point in 10 games, an assist on an empty netter

He's a forward that is an excellent defender, to me, that's a 2 way player. I agree he doesn't light it up offensively by any stretch of the word, but he does all the gritty, dirty things to foster offensive production for the team!

  9. Sign him asap and sign him for 8 years and anything up to 7 per. I also think the list of our quality two way forwards is growing, Tuch, Greeny, Mitts, Cozey, Krebs, and Biro and Benson are both good and will only get better with more experience. I also think Tage is developing as well, at the very least working on it!

I'm not sure that's true.  Practicing with the big boys is great, but it will never replace in game experience.  Think back to when they returned Reinhart to Juniors after his 9 game tryout.  He went back and focused on what they asked him to work on and came back a better player the following year.

If he stays up, how would he not get game experience?
