Are there a lot of Sabre fans there this afternoon?

Gotta like the beard on the guy with the goathead jersey behind the Buffalo bench.

Marchand is so creative.
-
Sabres PK keeping them to the outside. Good job thus far.
-
I was naively hopeful. Hopefully his game will be more ready next time up.

It’s Dahlin. They know it rattles him and he’s prone to ghastly giveaways. If I knew I could pot a couple every game by pressuring a “franchise” D, I’d be sending everything at him as well. I’m also certain they are trying to injure him because they are dirty Boston scumbags.
Among other improvements I'd like to see in his game in the future, the mental aspect is at the top of my list.

Nice snap shot, Vinnie!

The Bruins are certainly aggressive on the forecheck.

The Broons are healthy but I’m hoping for some rust on them and a better UPL for us.
Sabres 4
Bahston 2
Marchand Waste
I'm hoping, as always, that someone takes a run at Marchand. Of course, if he was a Sabre, I would love him.

Skill is skill and when you're the better team, you just are. However, I've always wondered how the extended time off effects some teams during bowl season.
-
Hopefully, they're rested and ready today. I'm just looking for more urgency to their game and less sight seeing. Oh, and a win would be great!

How about guy who would “die” for the Sabres crest? Is that a generic base level requirement? 😜
On a side note, do they still refrain from stepping on the logo in the locker room?

I couldn’t figure out if she was walking like an idiot on purpose, and was wondering if there was a joke I was missing. 😂
As funny as I found her on some of her SNL work, I was also wondering if her Verizon ads were her merely playing herself or her going for annoying as hell. If the latter was the angle, then bravo to her.

What exactly was your “reality” before the last two games?
My "reality" has been grounded in hope, a fool's hope I know, but hope nonetheless. I was looking forward to the influx of young players coming out of the mini COVID break and, obviously, my zeal was unfounded. The Sabres have been the most important sporting entity of my lifetime and the last decade or so has been extremely challenging for me remain behind them. It's important, that once the regulars return, let the kids go back to develop in, hopefully, a more functional environment.

I do have a soft spot for the Texas Law Hawk guy from here in Fort Worth that inserted himself into a Taco Bell Super Bowl ad. The ultimate in viral marketing.
The Super Bowl ad:
One of his Youtube ads (these never appeared on local TV, just Youtube):
I never realized that I needed this so badly.

It is troubling when Tuch is the best player out there.
Don't read that wrong, I like Tuch. I think I will like him a lot, but he shouldn't be our best player. It speaks to how lousy this team is. Those of you who believe some sort of Krebs Quinn Peterka line will come up next year and miraculously change everything need a reality check. We are a long long long way from being good.
Watching the last two games certainly receded the light at the end of the tunnel for me. A reality check for sure.

For me, the attorney ads. They all have some kind of shtick and only succeed in enraging me. The "heavy hitters" lawyers ads are the worst. I have many violently deplorable thoughts running through my mind when I watch them.
-
Sabres looked fairly demoralized out there. Listless and soft with very few exceptions.

Barzal is such a nice player.

I think Lindy used to refer to that as lack of finish.

Joker with a keystone cops turn there. Smh.

In past eras, he would have a host of teammates to help give him room and protection a la Bobby Clarke and Wayne Gretzky. This is something that I miss in the new NHL.
