Real Cloutier (83-84) not to be confused with Jacques Cloutier (played for most of the 80's).
After the numbers he put up in the WHA, I was so excited when the Sabres acquired him. By then, though, his career was a fart in the wind.

Thankfully my drugs smell way better than stanky ass eggs
Unfortunately, those guys were not built for the era of thuggery they played. They were not built for the oughts style of playoffs where everyone just tried to Ram everyone’s head into the boards or slash their ACL off their body.
That they weren't. All those injuries during the '06 playoffs bore that out.

Vanek and pommer basically carried him those first 20 games.
Vanek and Pommer. God, I miss those Sabres from the late oughts.

I just hope they stay safe and are able to make it through without any long term effects. One of my co-workers is on oxygen after his bout from weeks earlier. Any word on call ups, if any, for Thursday?

Couldn’t agree more. Especially since 73% of the financing will probably come from NYS/Erie at the tune of over a billion dollars
Me, too. I love the Bills and would be devastated if they left, but I've always loved our community more. I'd love to see those taxpayer dollars spent building our entire area and not just one asset.

I remember people quitting Bills fandom because they took Allen over Josh Rosen.
I had no trust in the Bills at that time to build a winner. When the head coach came here talking about process, I just wanted him to shut up. So, I fell for all of the "experts" who said that Josh was a raw project who couldn't make it in the NFL. I've never been so happy to not know what the hell I'm talking about.

And the Browns took him #1! And over Josh. We won't even talk about the Jets and Darnold.
They are the Browns after all. As moribund of a franchise as the Bills were during the drought, we never quite sank to the sewage addled depths of that dumpster fire.

Does he have a statistical background? Holding people's mocha lattes doesn't count.

John Blue. A name as generic as his Sabres legacy.

Don’t live like this
I agree. I enrage myself focusing on lost opportunities. The playoffs are clinched. The division title is still there for the taking. Onward and forward.

Allen is one tough, hard-nosed kid. Ditto for Singletary.

The defense bent, but didn't brake there. Hopefully, we can make adjustments against the run at the half.

Took awhile?
At first he rejected it completely and went to the USFL instead.
Once he had no choice but to come to Buffalo he soon realized that he had been a fool and loved every second of it. Well, maybe not the *Bickering Bills* of 1988. Cost them a chance to be humiliated in the SB.
Personally, I know that this was the reason it took me so long to come around on JK in my yoot.

Ugh...that INT was not tipped.
-
There's the dichotomy on Allen. Yes, I know the INT in the end zone was tipped, but it comes right after a monster run. So, the game goes from possibly 21-5 to 14-12.

How to make Notre Dame Eggs:
Put em in a bowl that's too big for them, then beat em for 3 straight hours.
My father was a huge ND fan. Thankfully, he doesn't have to see bowl games like yesterday's Fiesta anymore.

Murray came up as an injury replacement for Caggiula.
Caggiula is skating again and coming back off IR soon. When he’s back and the COVID list is cleared we will have 16 healthy forwards (Tuch, Tage, Skinner, VO, KO, Krebs, Asplund, Hayden, Eakin, Hinostroza, Murray, Bjork, Cozens, Girgensons, Caggiula, Jankowski) when we only carry 13 or 14.
Murray has 2 goals and 6 points in 15 games, mostly in a bottom 6 role. He and Krebs are the only 2 who are waiver ineligible.
Has he done enough to send somebody to the waiver wire?
I would think that Murray's physical presence, of which we have very little, would be enough to keep him here at least a bit longer. His ability to chip in offensively, to me, is simply a bonus. I like what I've seen from him.

Goals like this are what I had hoped that Lazar would have become for us.

Absolutely horrendous looking jerseys by Minnesota. Could have just said liberal ***** city on those jerseys!
I really wish that they would have done something North Stars related. If Dallas wouldn't have permitted it, something related to their recent thirds would have worked.

JFC I thought this was a 7pm game!
Honestly, you didn't miss much. We were out-shot, out-muscled, and out-worked for much of it. We wasted another halfway decent performance by UPL. Oh, and blew another lead in the third. Tuch and Krebs were the other highlights.

If he keeps this up Allen will go down as the best QB in Bills history.
There, I've said it.
He's already rewritten some of the Bills record book. This comment is not a stretch at all. I just hope that he stays healthy. That's always been my biggest concern with Josh.

If he continues to develop like this, Peterka will certainly be one to watch. Wow!

He had a solid game against the Falcons. We drafted him to be much more than he's shown thus far. If he strings a few of these games along, then the accolades will follow.
