Broken record at this point, but this is an ENORMOUS win. On the road against the best team in the west with a lively crowd. Game started about as poorly as possible, but they weathered the storm, settled down, went toe-to-toe with the type of team built to beat them and WON. By God, they WON.
Power has been playing so well of late, it was just a matter of time for him to break through…and what a time to do it.
Tage is in a slump, it happens, but even so, he’s contributing, and that pass to Power was a BEAUTY.
Night in and night out, Dahlin is pretty regularly the best player on the ice. Defensively, offensively, he’s so damn good. He’s become the “generational” talent many said he would be when selected #1 overall. Whenever people knock anything Power does, they need to look at Rasmus and realize that D-men take a little longer to cook.
Anderson is such a phenomenal player/person to have on this team. He single-handily kept them in the game those first 15-18 minutes, and his strong play carried throughout the game. Incredible effort.
Playoffs or not this year, everyone should sit back and enjoy the hell out of this team. They aren’t perfect, but you can see the makings of a team that is going to be a FORCE in the coming years.
