    I'll be there tonight! This will be my second Boston game of the year. The first was a real nice victory back in October. I'm guessing tonight will be more of the same from the other night. Especially if the Sabres come out quickly.

     

    This weekend is the continuation of a 3 year tradition (excluding the lockout year) of taking a Sabres road trip with my roommate from college each year. A few years ago we went to Long Island (the only game in which the Sabres lost that we've been to), last year it was actually a game in Buffalo (I live in CT...so it was a road trip for me!) and this year it's up to Boston.......AND then down to Jersey on Saturday. What a great weekend this should be.

    I predict a big first period for the Sabres, after Ruff calling them out for starting slow. 2 or 3 goals in the first + solid D + Miller should = another Buffalo win :thumbsup:

     

    DB, Soupy, Kotalik (to extend his scoring streak to 6 games), and I'm feeling some Goose tonight. :beer:

    Last night was my wife's first Sabres game in person, and obviously it was great. :beer:

     

    However, when we got home we went to watch it on the DirecTV DVR and of course the piece of crap didn't record it (for no reason whatsoever other than it's a hunk of junk). Needless to say, we'd really like to watch it and also have it as a memento of the game.

     

    Do any of you who DVR'd it have the capability of burning it to a DVD and throwing it in the mail to me? If so, please Email me at cdexchange@earthlink.net and I will give you my mailing address. If possible, I'd like the few minutes before the game as well, with Sabretooth repelling down etc.

     

    In appreciation for doing this, I would be happy to send you a couple DVDs or CDs from my store (www.thecdexchange.com) in return. Just pick 'em out and I'll send them to you free of charge once I get the DVD-R from you. Anyways, hopefully someone out there can help me out. Thanks! :thumbsup:

  15. Gameday Thread - Sabres @ Canadians

    Man if we play these guys in the playoffs it will be one hell of a series.

     

    Honestly they do scare me a little in a playoff series because of their special teams...top-tier PP and PK units. 3 out of 4 games so far have gone to OT. It definitely helped last night that Goose knocked Souray out for most of the third period - that guy is a monster, what a shot!

     

    Did anyone else hear Roy mouthing off to Souray after Souray roughed him up next to the Sabre net? You could clearly see and hear him say "Yeah you're real f*ckin' tough, why don't you pick on someone your own f*ckin' size!". Oh man that was hilarious :lol:

     

    Briere took a beating last night, seems like teams are really making a point of being extra physical with him and trying to wear him down. I like how he got in a punch to the side of the head of whichever guy raped him in front of the net (I forget who it was), too bad the ref saw it too.

     

    A gritty win last night against a very good team in their extremely loud building. Now bring on NJ! :beer:
