Why didn't he pull the goalie.

People sometimes ask me my opinion on Don Granato. I'm undecided. That 5-on-3 in the first period, and the failure to pull Anderson in a timely manner, are reasons why.
Think what you want but he's far better than what we've had in recent years
Every coach, even respected one's, make mistakes here and there

Sabres put every ounce of gas into that huge win last night. They were badly outshot, too.
Second game of a back to back on the road
Senators 3-2 in regulation
Yeah
Too easy of a call

That’s why I was confused.
My brain doesn’t even remember another Benoit playing for the team, besides Hogue.

No, because they weren't
They're far better this year

Sabres should send that to the league’s officiating office. That is so blatant as to bring into question the integrity of the game. Just atrocious on every level.
Reminds me of that trip on J Allen in the Kansas City game

Mittelstadt has been my least favorite for at the last couple years. He seems to be playing a little better recently but I'd package him with VO and whoever else for a solid R hand defenseman who can do a chin up. I think it was Casey who couldn't do one at his combine. (that's terribly lame) ... Move him (if there's any value) and also I think ya gotta keep UPL up this year. These young guys need to keep the group energy/mentality they have aquired and UPL is a big part of it in my opinion. ... I think you can break this playoff draught without mortgaging the future.
Should have traded him 3 years ago

Sure, great.
Now figure out how to do that without getting your ass kicked, Peyton.
Takes guts to even drop the gloves in the first place

Big win. It's that simple
Now go make the playoffs

Disagreement in trades doesn’t bother anyone. It’s part of why SabreSpace exists, I think.
What bothers me is misspellings in short posts.😁

And ROR winning the Stanley Cup MVP is four years in the past. TNT is worth more to the Sabres than ROR is to STL right now. Therefore, years later it seems the Sabres won the trade.
Disagree. I know that bothers you. Sry

IMHO it's better to live in the present and look to the future than to dwell on the past. You be you, but I'm guessing most on here will agree with me.
I guess you only say things in hoping other people will agree with you. Lol

Yes, they did win the trade. TT is more of an asset to the Sabres right now than ROR is to STL. Regardless of a Stanley Cup MVP almost four years ago.
Stanley Cup > zero playoff appearances

Man, if we had just split that 8 game skid, we'd be 22-10-2.
It's in the past who cares win the next 10 in a row

At the time it looked like the Sabres lost the trade. What I am saying is years later the Sabres won that trade in the long run.
They didn't win any trade yet make the playoffs at least then MAYBE say that

Great win.
2 items.
1. Said before this game that UPL could cement his spot on the roster today or get himself back on the road to Ra-cha-cha. Anybody doubt he cemented his roster spot?
2. During the broadcast Dunlevy said there were a lot of NHL Brass at today's game. Did Cozens do enough today to get himself set up as the 3rd Sabre All Star? Doubt it, but it would be sweet to have him join Thompson & Dahlin in Lauderdale.
All star games a joke make the playoffs

Pretty soon Bergeron will be gone and The Rat will be small, slow, ugly and irrelevant.
We can match Pastrnak with Tage. We exceed McAvoy with Dahlin.
Who do they have to match Skinner? Tuch? Samuelsson? Cozens? And what about Quinn and Peterka?
They draft well though always have

In Boston, against Ullmark
Gonna have to get some breaks to win this one
If the Sabres win whoever starts in net is going to have to have the game of their life
Just get it to overtime see what happens
Nailed it
