I think the Nigerian Nightmare Aliu will have no problem policing the ice for the Amerks. He is big and nasty. Just youtube Aliu vs Downie. I would link it but have no clue how to from my Galaxy S5. Phone has me all screwed up.

Eerily similar to last year....Sabres being outshot, taking too many penalties, but still right in the game. I don't see this team getting smoked too many times this season.

Three things......what's with Brian Duff and the UFC fighter look? Who the hell dresses Brad May and I think May stayed in the tanning booth a little too long. Other than that, the Sabres look pretty good. I don't see McDavid or Eichel being a Sabre next year.

Hanks skate got caught in the ice and is what threw him off balance. Not much Weber could do about that. Looked like a separated shoulder possibly. Feel bad for Tallinder.

Dale Weise accuses Lucic of being classless and disrespectful with his comments in the handshake. Won't say what was said.
Pierre asked PK Subban what Lucic said during the handshake and PK said he didn't want to talk about it, that Lucic was probably a little mad. Milan Lucic is a total scumbag. I even saw Thornton saying good game to Montreal players.

I just heard from someone who was there that there were a couple bananas thrown out onto the ice... TOTALLY CLASSLESS!!!!
Just goes to show how smart Boston fans are.....they have Iginla on their team and Subban's brother is in their organization playing for their farm team. Total ignorance.
Glad to hear others heard Pierre drooling over the Bruins as well, I thought it was just me cause I hate that team so much.

On the Jay Mohr show, Actor Bill Fichtner just said if he could have his greatest moment as an athlete he'd be the Buffalo Sabres goalie at the Montreal Forum. Umm...WTF!!!
Did you see him in the movie "Go" where he played the gay detective? He was hilarious. He was great in Drowning Mona as well.
