At this stage I want a skinner goal, and Dahlin to get some points.
-
I flipflop on the issue. It's exciting when it happens (especially live - EIHL is my in the flesh fix which follows broadly NHL tolerances). I like hockey as my whole family enjoys the game together, but I'm really uncomfortable when there's a fight when I have my 5 year old daughter is with us. I also think officiating needs to be more consistent across the league.
-
That was poor.
Dahlin was about the only bright spot for me.
I wonder what the culture is like in the dressing room now.

Such a stark difference on the speed of our PP Vs the stars PP. The stars drop pass goes to someone hitting the blue line like a train. We need that.
-
I see this being another crazy Phil victory. Odds against us, Eichel out.
-
Leier seems to have slotted in nicely.

Poor. Avs came out to push us around. We let them. Need to play harder in final third.

My father in law is here watching his first hockey game. Seems to like it!!!

Thoughts and prayers. It seems you've come down with the dreaded "itdoesntmatterwhenthegameisistillrefertothegameasbeingplayedatnightitis". This is very common among announcers, who even if outdoors, with sun glaring into their eyeballs at 1pm, will still say, "tonight" when referring to the game time.
To be fair, it's 8pm start where I am!

Cool. I'll need to earn top quality husband points to commandeer the TV!

It's not the premier sports game is it?

Defensive nightmare for both teams tonight is my prediction.
10 goals total
8 penalties
1 fight
Dahlin 2 points
Montour another point.
Me drunk

Those tiny little muscles are a heck of a lot easier to bulk up than the giraffe size limbs Tage is dealing with.
But think of the size he'd be if he ate his weight in steak each day!!! J j j j jacked.

Tage needs to meet whoever Eichel used as strength coach. Eichel uses his size really well, nice strong skating style and can put himself about a bit. You expect a big guy to be chucking himself about.

I dunno. Someone will win. Someone won't. Goals. Etc.

Solid performance. Montour looks like he'll be a great acquisition. Not afraid to niggle opponents or put in hits. A great skater.
What does skinner need to do to get amongst the goals!!!?!?!
Happy with this showing. Now onto the leafs.

It's interesting that people are mad Mitts was not better, Mitts being asked to drive a line was unreasonable.
Agreed. He worked well with Reinhart imo. Slot Rodrigues in there and that should be a capable line.

I am weirdly expecting a good performance tonight. Crazy Phil's line selection lottery machine has churned out some decent results from seemingly horrible lines.
I predict an all offence game. Sabres win by the odd goal in 9.

Stone is better than Skinner. I think you have to have that hit below 9mil and build in lockout protection. That's the key. If you can do 8.5mil for 8 years that is front loaded to some degree, that will help.
Are contracts allowed to be front loaded? I thought CBA took that away.

Must win! My mate's a flyers fan and is mourning over the loss of Simmonds. We need to win so I have bragging rights!!

Kucherov, point, stankos. Any of those. But they'd better send a few picks our way too ?

Managed to catch up. Holy crap. Can I please watch this team every game? Every one played great. They played 3 periods of hi tempo hockey. And I got drunk ? happy Saturday everyone.

Gosh. There were several players who i don't recall getting the puck in that period.
I like the early look of 26-62 as a pair. Not as gung-ho as I'd feared.
