I'm pulling for ya, pal.
I looked in Urban Dictionary and I couldn't find what you really meant. What do the kids these days mean when they say that?
Lol... No, I am really cleaning my golf balls!!! More entertaining

Truth be told 6 shots in two periods. This might be one of the least competitive hockey games I’ve ever seen.
I decided to clean my golf balls instead of watching tonight and damn happy about my decision. I am however, enjoying the comments! 😀

“Our compete wasn’t there”
He'll point out that after 2 periods, statistically we had ZERO giveaways.... Yay.... Success!!!

I am with you. The kids again are being put in the line-up a year too early. I hope it works, but I have my doubts. See Krebs, Payton - Development of.
Yep... There's building through the draft and then there's just utter stupidity. These kids are nowhere near NHL ready but year after year this appears to be his "plan". It's like he views these kids as NFL draftees but they are not even close to being physically ready for this.

I know a few of you will rejoice on Samuelsson being out for the game. Ugh 😔
I wouldn't call it rejoicing... Not sure what to call it. He makes Pat Kaleta look like Cal Ripken and when he's been on the ice, he hasn't exactly looked good this year. No sure what his deal is but he was supposed to be a long term solution on the blueline but he's become yet another part of the problem.

That's a different take, then how does he watch this now and not do anything.
Because people don’t like to be proven wrong. I truly believe KA is convinced this type of roster will succeed at the NHL level.

It's been known for 3 seasons now. I am truly baffled as to why Adams is throwing these kids to the wolves. It's not like they are going to put on 20lbs per player during the season.
This was one of the needs that should have been addressed in the off season. Adams response? A 5 / 6 d man that came from Boston, supposedly one of the bastions of snarl, as we watch him get his keester rag-dolled like the rest of them.
It's not the roster that doesn't have pride, hell, Cozens got his face caved to try and swing the pendulum, it's management and coaching that don't have the pride.
And that my friends, is the Ugly Truth.
Agreed… At this point I truly believe it’s just pure ignorance on KA’s part. Injuries are gonna happen and he never seems to have a plan in place. The speed game can only work for a game or so before they get ragdolled, which is what I gather is happening tonight. This club doesn’t have a shot in hell at the playoffs again this year and won’t be any closer next year, unless checking is eliminated

I'm not even mad to be honest. It's to be expected with both the coaching game strategy and the roster. What surprises me is how Adams can look at this game after game and do nothing to address it, and I mean nothing, is really telling.
I refused to even watch after seeing the lineup for tonight. What’s the average size and age of our forwards?? 5’9 160 lbs and 20 yrs old. Don’t know how KA thinks they can be competitive with nothing but midgets in the pipeline.

We are just allowed to have nice things…EVER

They lack competent players to run any kind of PP other than a Tage one timer from the faceoff circle. That’s really all they’ve known how to do with this current regime. They lack the size and/or toughness to crowd the net and other than Dahlin, nobody on the point can even get a shot through. Skinner does pirouettes, Tuch tries to skate through everyone, Mitts does a good job in the corners but can’t pass to anyone bc they’re always standing still. VO does what VO does. Power holds on to the puck too long then loses it. And when KO is on the PP, albeit the second unit, you know you are void of NHL talent to make any sort of PP work. Oh…and then there’s Matt Ellis running things. 🫣

That OT goal is on Cozens. WTH is he out there in these situations??

I'm thinking more postgame comment. So he still has a chance lol
He needs to do that “in the moment”. That call was so bad that who cares if he gets an unsportsmanlike penalty. Maybe the emotion would start rubbing off and they would start showing up more than just the last 10 minutes of the game

I’m more pissed that Granato didn’t stick up for his guys there. Like you said, take a fine and show some emotion.

If Granato was smart he'd get himself fined and play the us vs. the world card.
Did he even get upset? He should’ve been throwing sh$t on the ice.

Does Cozens ever stay on his feet after a faceoff??

Johnson (Jr) is seasoned from playing all 4 yrs. This doesn’t seem too big for him.
Does he stay up & maybe there is some rotation w E Johnson w the other 6, to keep him fresh?
Dahls Johnson Jr, Meul, Power, Clifton, E Johnson, & Joker. Time to waive Bryson… he will likely pass thru to ROCH.Wouldn’t mind seeing Samuelsson or Power sit a few

May not score another PP goal again this year

Sabres bad PP v Jets bad PK… who wins tonight??

For sentimental reasons, I'd love to have Kane come here and lead us to 8th place. But in all honesty, even if his hip is good, do we really want another perimeter player that won't get his nose dirty? I mean, he might help the power play, but we still don't have a front of the net presence. Maybe watching Kane and Skinner figure skating in circles in the offensive zone will put more people in the seats!

Please tell me how they are going to make the playoffs this season, now that Thompson is out.
There is no way KA gets fired after this season. He will be allowed to hire a 2nd coach
In all fairness, this group wasn’t making the playoffs with Thompson.
Pegula will definitely not allow firings happen anytime soon. He wouldn’t want the negative attention of pink slips at One Bills Drive and Sabreland. It would give the appearance that the sh$t is going south with both franchises.

I am all for getting rid of Granato. I honestly don't think he knows what he got himself into. Unfortunately, if you get rid of DG, you kinda have to blow up the roster because for the most part, they have his demeanor. And the big problem is, too many of the assets in the pipeline are basically the same player with a different name on the back. Size doesn't matter with this group. They all play on the outside and don't have the intestinal fortitude to get to the dirty areas consistently. Something has to give because this team is in jeopardy of implosion after 16 games. Can't wait til the trade deadline. We may see a spark here and there, but this team is definitely not built for the grind (hence the injuries).

All I remember is that Bennett couldn't do a single pullup at the combine! I think that helped sway everyone in Reinhart's direction
