The red flags with Josh Allen were glaring. The "he has big hands to play in the wind & snow" reasoning was absurd to me. Did Andy Reid know something our regime didn't when he moved up for Mahomes? He's an offensive guru and McClappy is a D-man. The naysayers claim Mahomes will come down to earth. I'm calling BS. KC is playing lights out and we are a circus act. I get the "well, KC has A, B and C and we don't" argument but watching Mahomes and Allen is like night and day. I cringe seeing the stats Mahomes is putting up. I thought there was a plan but I'm chalking this up to ineptitude. Again, I'll be the first to happily admit I'm wrong if things pan out.

Way back when, my brother had a fly trap. He used to actually feed it flys from time to time. It was really something. He was a bit of a sick bastage.
I have a few Venus fly traps of the larger variety that I keep outside during the summer. Had the pleasure of seeing a yellow jacket trigger one of the traps. It actually was able to escape though after some effort. Trapped crane flies are also amusing.

Isn't it part of the fun in having them, though, ya know...feeding them?
Cutting a chunk off that fresh strip steak you're about to grill and feeding it to your fly trap will likely kill it. Some insects are capable of escaping, damaging the plant in the process. I've heard some people use freeze dried bloodworms.

There were people pregaming on Abbott Road at 9:30 this morning. Blacking out for the game might actually be a smart move.

Favorite Halloween movie: Nightmare Before Christmas
Favorite horror: idk that I can pick one.
House of 1000 Corpses is up there
Scream is probably the leader
Sinister (NOT Sinister 2)
Cabin in the Woods is always a fun time
It Follows
Evil Dead (old and new)
My son has watched A Nightmare Before Christmas every other day for the last two weeks. I love the stop motion and Danny Elfman.

Watching the original Halloween now. The ambience, music and 70's visual recording makes this the best IMO.

Actually adequate substrate material plays a part in the non-necessity for feedings as well. Carnivorous plants supplement their diet due to poor "living conditions".

Do you, uhm, feed them? I’m very curious.
They don't need to be fed as long as they receive adequate lighting. It just so happens the fruit fly cultures for the dart frogs are located right next to the plants so it works out well if there are any "escapees".

That was in response to Josie's response to my post. Didn't want her to think my plants were withering away like Sloth in the some random basement. They're getting their rocky road!

I'd love to see some pics of people's aquariums, reptiles or amphibians.

I want carnivorous plants. Some pitcher plants would be great. Love all those things. We just have no room in this apartment for them- dark's parents are babysitting some my jungle of succulents and hardy flowers in their home through the winter... he puts up with my plants. I'm lucky.
The tropical pitchers (Nepenthes) are really cool. Cephalotus are my favorite. Unfortunately the plants have been relegated to the basement storage room by the wife.

Fresh, and they’re inexpensive.
I’m basically mimicking an office desk tank.
of course, this is how you end up chest deep into a hobby again.
It is indeed. You'll have a "fish room" in three years.

I now have a small tank starting to cycle. Going for a crustacean tank. Once everything stabilizes I'll get a few shrimp to populate it.
No stink eye.....yet.
Freshwater? Crazy shrimp species available online. Some are ridiculously expensive. Couldn't fathom spending a lot on something with such a short lifespan if there's no successful spawning.

Any fish tank owners here?
75 gallon peacock cichlid tank, dart frog tank and some carnivorous plants. My wife hates them all.

Anyone watch Haunting of Hill House? Lots of chatter about it when I was out at Nine Eleven (best wings in town) tonight .

I enjoy the saw movies, they're not the best, but they are just good predictable torturous deaths.
Also 13 ghosts
13 Ghosts was good as well.

I recognize that gravel bar............
nice rod.
Haha, that would be impressive if you do but I think it's possible I might as well if someone posted a pic from it. Might need to be a bit more discreet from now on.
Thanks, tied by a certain person on Rt. 5 in the Hamburg area. Think the guides are too small especially the tip top.

And I just wanted to say thanks for being so welcoming. There are some barbaric people on the other sites. I actually would lurk here for level headed takes on the Bills. I don't have a lot to contribute in regards to analytics etc. I'm the guy stuffing his face with wings and a beer in hand screaming at the tv. I also appreciate the diversity of topic material. Again thanks.
