I haven't watched a lot of games this year but I have watched games and the consistent problem I've noticed is a lack of effort by players. IMO, lack of effort is completely unacceptable and it should absolutely be called out.
***** this team. You wanna collect that big paycheck? Either play hard or listen to the criticism. There should be repercussions for lack of effort.

What boggles my mind is the fact that this team was on the verge of making the playoffs last year and has regressed so much this year. I could understand this happening with a group of aging players that are falling off the proverbial cliff but these were supposed to be young up and coming players that were poised to hit the next gear.

Is the city cursed? Thirty years ago I would have laughed and said of course not. If we are living in a simulation, there is a likelihood that the Creator/Programmer has some kind of algorithm to inflict pain on our fan base. This loss cuts deep.
