That's what happens when you sleep-walk through the first. Have to hand it to Boston for keeping the goonery under wraps.

Yeah Florida was flat knowing they were playing a desperate team. Now Boston has momentum and going back home.

  2. This franchise refuses to go outside and bring fresh eyes in. It’s a good ole boys club over there. Living here in Panther country, it was eye opening to see their owner take a proactive stance many years ago when they were a dumpster dive and bring in all established hockey minds to run the team. Now look at them.

Remember when the Sabres decided they had no use for E-Rod?

Remember when they decided Montour was garbage and had to go?

Wonderful management we've had over the years and when you watch these guys filling their roles in solid fashion on other teams you have to come to realize it's never been the players (as a whole), it's always been the coaching. This is why Ruff excites me and gives me a little hope. No, he's not the best coach but he's a real NHL coach. We haven't actually had a real experienced NHL coach since.......well, since Ruff. (I don't count Nolan V2 cause that was a screw job tank and no coach could deal with that).

Looks like Bruins will be out in 5.

Don't forget guys like Zadorov, McNabb, and Tyler Myers. The list is extensive.  We are truly the development squad for the rest of the league.

I’m cheering for Florida in this one so that beating of the Bruins was nice to see.

I would love Tkachuk on the Sabres because he plays hard and gets under the other team’s skin. I find that his toughness is overrated. He is not Brady, who will drop the gloves against nearly anyone. He rarely will engage in more than a face washing duel and dropping the mitts vs Pastrnak is about right for him. 6’2” 206 but he doesn’t challenge any middle weights.

He is more skilled than Brady but I would prefer Brady because he’s got your back. If it’s all about face washing, wrestling and chirping then Matthew fills the bill.

Anyone like Dakota Joshua’s game last night?

    27 year old UFA.

Joshua is exactly the type of player we need to add.
