Started watching with about 7 minutes left. Happy to hear the team (and Sam) played a better game. Perhaps RK read them some posts from this board. They need to string a few of these together before I change my opinion however. It just goes to show if you put in an honest effort, good things happen.

Win or lose, just show me you care and put forth the effort. I think we as fans would accept that. What we’ve born witness to has been anything but. IMHO Sam deserves every bit of the criticism he is getting. He was a #2 overall pick. No ***** we have guys in our line up who make more mistakes but they weren’t drafted second overall. He is weak on the puck which is inexcusable at this point in his career. He doesn’t drive play. He’s a beneficiary of Jack just like Jeff has been exposed to be. He cannot be paid like a player who drives play. If a GM pays him as such, they are a fool. Enough on that.
I have a bad feeling about tonight. This team is reeling. Artemi is going to put on a show. Sabres won’t have an answer.

Glad I missed the EN Shawty
Trade deadline has me worried. I don’t trust JB to make the right moves. Hopefully he just moves the UFA’s for future assets. Let a new GM take over this off-season.
