  1. Not even the most old school "need good guys in the room" hockey person on the planet would think Moulson's housing Eichel is worth $5 million for three more years :)

Well when you put it like that, I agree. However, I don't want "the business" of the game to impact Eich at this point in his career. To underestimate the bond he has with Moulson would be foolish. We need positive vibes and our superstars to be happy.

  2. Tonight is a perfect example of what this team can be when everyone is firing on all cylinders. And not even just based on goals. Great passing on the PP before the period ending. And damn, I really missed Pysyk.

I was just thinking the same thing. It's nights like tonight where they don't look like a team in 29th place. The future looks promising.

  3. The FNC has become an uninspired morgue to be playing in. The players must feel it. Everything about it is dead. The only time it seems to come to life is when it’s artificially resuscitated with either a goal or one of the incessant attempts to pump up the crowd with lights or music or artificial crowd noises I suspect.

The whole game experience has got to be changed from top to bottom. The crazed fans are there but the experience is deadening. Any ideas?

    More beer...

Seriously though, I too have noticed a lack of crowd noise during the games. We have a young team to be proud about. I'm sure the energy level on the ice would get a boost from some life in the stands. It shouldn't take a goal for people to get out of their seats and cheer these guys on.

    Go Sabres!

  4. Welcome, hope you stick around!

That's the plan. I've been lurking in the shadows for so long I figured it's time for me to join the community of loyal (and obsessed) Sabres fans.

Always enjoy watching Sabres play the Caps. I spent a few years in the Baltimore-Washington area when Ovie was early in his career. Here's to hoping Eichel puts together a multi-point game.
