And this explains the generational difference, doesn't it? We went from "who shot JR" to "who hired JR."
Not sure what you're saying here.
Many seem to think that JR was not worthy of his gig to begin with. That's on NBC. Is that not a reflection? They're both dunces.

The hog is on the right.

...and he stretched the boundaries beyond the breaking point. It's a public forum, and he said very unseemly things about a coworker. The company where I work does regular ethics and diversity training. What Roenick said is so far beyond the standard of what's acceptable that it's not even worth discussion. Like any major corporation I'm sure NBC has similar training. The interesting thing about the training we get is that it is often based on situations that actually occurred in our company... I wonder if NBC will feature this scenario in future training sessions.
Nope. There's no way the network would want the sexual tension (real or perceived) on their broadcast. This is a sports show, not a rom com. These are real people, not characters.
Perhaps they could get Matt Lauer to spearhead this training?
Afterall, he was the face of the franchise.

Now, let's get into reality. Does NBC want to be sued by Tappen, who has a case, or Roenick, who probably does not? This is an easy decision for NBC.
Seems to me the problem is who hired JR.

Restarting sports now is probably the dumbest thing I've heard of in awhile. Case are trending up in lots of places and we're going to start flying dozens of people around, presumably not respecting quarantine requirements. It's a damn game.
It's also a business.
It comes with risk. You manage it.

I think you’re selling that unprotected 2021 1st short. That could easily be a top 3 pick ?
Other than Henrique what other 2C are available besides Cirelli? Strome?
You make a good point.

Good players are not the issue.
The lack of good players is the issue.

I find it ridiculous that not a single production worker is friendly enough with you to give you ***** for having your garage door open
Equally ridiculous is that Avis would open that early to fire a car washer.

Well, they just announced it during the Pro Bowl and then immediately cut to an image of a pizza. How ceremonious.

Seems like the Sabres attitude this year is:

This ain't no fooling around
No time for dancing, or lovey dovey,

Love this question.
Growing up, I had two older brothers. We're all mid 50's now. Anyway, we played street hockey all the time. My oldest brother was GP (11), my other bro RM (7) and me, well of course, RR (14).
It was because of this that RR was my favorite Sabre and fave number.
OP, thanks for bringing back very fond memories. Time flies.

We’ve decided tonight that it is time to put our dog down. Making the appointment for Saturday morning. It was almost exactly 1 year ago that we found out he had cancer. Almost to the day. We got to have another full year with him before it got out of hand.
Long faces in the Weave house tonight. And probably all weekend.
Very sorry.
i put my pup down after 11 years of joy back in December. It hurt my than I could imagine. They’re family.
hang in.

The Wild are such a weird team. They've had pretty good talent for years and are just totally uninteresting. When was the last time anyone gave a ***** about the Wild? 2013?
2011 I became interested.
The Wild drafted my nephew in the 6th round (161 overall) that year. He’s A goalie. The Sabres took a netminder with their 167th selection.
My family - Buffalo through and through - have often wondered had he not gone to Minny......
