mr. tank, you avatar is creepy (btw, mine is lame and cliche but i did try out of love for someone here who asked).. anyway, it makes me laugh w the mcdonalds reference ...but then i want to grind that veal or dog up and eat its sadbess with a fressh tomatoe and use the salt in those tears to flavor that wonderfully rare sandwich.... especially after someone reminded me that one fifth of the season remains...

in the new tradition of this our collective suffering i am practicing by humbly sharting verbally to cheer my team of 45 years.. taro of the aud might say ' we asked for this' but we as a group dont deserve it.. its not boring unless you want to watcxh buffalo sabres hockey.. but i guess thats the point as i stand fractally corrected... i feel dirtier by the moment.. i need a moist towlette.

Let's say you finish in 4th, 3 teams behind you get the top 3 picks. Suddenly you're picking 7th. Fair? Hardly. I hate draft lottery systems because it means you have to get lucky to improve your team. They don't do it in football and it's worked fine for decades in the NHL.

we have proved to have had 0 foresight in playing him more than 9 games and forcing him to be up w the big club w/o fear of being sent down next year...
because of that we are forced to evaluate him this year unlike the majority who are being hidden and protected from those accepting the scarring losing culture that like it or not is the living consequence of a tank philosophy that has many unintended consequences for every player exposed.
it makes sense about ROR trade since Roy has the most extensive reason for confidence through proximity concerning the ceiling of grigs developement.concerning the rub is similar to armia... if he (roy) doesnt ask for alot (beside grigs) then he gives away his confidence in grigs ability to focus and mature in a winning situation that really matters (echoing his drop from top five...ten in draft.
Murrays future hinges on being right about grigs armia and sam R and Eichel since the opinions league wide vary so much about time to see results and their collective ceilings..
having to evaluate grigs during a tank seems allot of seeming tells ... my first though is where he ends the year and on what roster... not sure what rules are about assigning players after camp w/0 having to clear waivers etc.. ig Pysyk is a key to murrays thinking then the length os time grigs or players like mccabe stay up and actually skate minutes which affect their status and value..
I havent watched much but the fact Roy is even interested is a tell in itself (if serious)

I said yea when the panthers scored , mainly for relief ...that the trade deadline surge shouldn't derail two years or more of abuse.. 18 games of apathy and we get a chance to attract some good hockey ..
We have been kinda spoiled in the sense that we never endured this before..
If they didn't try to get a top line this year the chances of tanking for a top two pick are gone.. Can't blame the strategy if guys they are hiding (developing) from this like pysyk proves that will to win, heart hunger and character are almost as important as talent to push the guys that have it.
Yagr and Bogosian have huge effects on both teams.. As well as desire to be traded.

Neuvirth had a great game. Relies a lot on reflexes vs positioning, contrary to new age goalies. He is a bit smaller than the new breed.
Larsson had a good shift filling in for Zemgus, 200 foot game. Played fine otherwise.
Nice to see Bogo stand up for teammates, Benoit knocked Wilson down to start fireworks then saunters over to hug Fisher.
Risto was pretty good.
Pysyk was solid in limited minutes.
Ennis is nifty (sorry I'm using Rick Middleton's nickname, but it fits).
Zemgus was a locomotive.
Actually .. It's kinda scary seeing all these good things about 15 games too early .. I hope we keep nervy and re bury pcsyk, Larson and McCabe back where they were .. Nothing good can come from their play and bogosians example .. A tank revolt is a worry . Let them all keep their pride and send the ring leader off for rehab or scope his knee so we don't delay our future with a bu defenseman . Suck it up .. It's been four years since loo cheech and seven eight years since we handed two centers centers back to the league in the lamest move that started this .. Zach seems perfect for next year and I like the tone and the skating of the youngsters (more varrone and waiver wire defense) but I hope it doesn't cause us to lose sight of a goal they might as well be all in on .. Bears wouldn't commit to Jay Cutler today and multiple reporters are saying they think this shows that they're going to move him. He's still, by far, the best option out there. I'm more all-in on Cutler than I was before. The draft isn't going to get us anything immediate and free agency is a bunch of garbage. Get it done.
No one wants that contract .let alone a pick.. When he is cut he may not want to play w kromer.. Bradford seems worth a middle pick but better to have a back up in Moore and wait to see of either is cut. I'd rather sign dareus. And try with an orton w heart if one exist who can hold onto the ball.

and... i keep picturing edmonton and the yotes dancining around sharing a mceichel sandwich and dancing around doing the eddie murphy dance ...' i got mceicman and you cant have none',,,gloating while nuffalo just had a big green pepper mommas burger. this wasnt mcdONALDS.. still dancin wildly and congratulating each other... with mceichel juice dripping down the cheeks of each cities leaders then, seemingly all at once, they realized they probably shoulve eaten a lower draft pick. In hindsight , the frenzy after the draft lottery was just off the hook... suddenly hanifan looked pretty good.
