You can get rid of anyone if you are willing to pay the price.

put him on waivers, send him to the AHL. Retain 50% of his salary to move him with a sweetener or buy him out.

Maybe. I just don’t see Adams taking on dead caps space even though the Sabres have room. Everything he’s done has been very frugal.

Great wins today! Do they get 4 points?😃

Byram is going to be a game changer.

I think Skinner’s time is up in Buffalo.

    I like Robinson’s game.

How can they be this bad at faceoffs still? That’s on coaching.

This coaching staff has to go. There are more than enough pieces here to be playoff bound.

Skinner isn’t going anywhere. No team in the league is going to pick up that contract

Why are you able to say "that's my opinion" but shoot down mine?

You have no proof he abandoned the Sabres.  He's actually done quite a bit to make the franchise better.  It hasn't ultimately worked but it's actually quite ridiculous to think he hasn't done anything.

There is evidence that Pegula, purposely handcuffed GM’s in recent years from making this team better.

you were the one that shot down my opinion first but believe what you’d like. It’s a free country… cheers 🍺

I'm certainly willing to get disappointed but it's not because of believing in something that isn't possible.  I don't have a ton of faith for obvious reasons but the opportunity is there.

So you believe Pegula bought the Sabres for that reason,  with no proof,  and I need to check myself?

That is my opinion. What has he done to make this franchise better? If that wasn’t the plan he certainly abandoned the Sabres once the Bills took off

No doubt,  we're all frustrated.  Especially since a little bit of hope seeped in because of last years offensive output.

We are an embarrassment and no one likes to be embarrassed.

The thing we differ on is, I do think Pegula cares.  I mean even from a business standpoint,  he would.  I'm pretty sure,  he'd much rather win.  What's the upside for him to not care, especially if it's a hobby.

This can turn around my friend. It's critical that the next set of decisions are made correctly.  We have talent,  cap and prospects.

“This can turn around”. I heard that a lot in the past 13 years. Keep believing and keep getting disappointed.

I honestly believe that Pegula bought the Sabres to prove to the NFL owners that he can own a sports franchise.

I'm cool. If I'm tense, it's because I hate this ***** day and have for over a decade. I don't believe that they are trying to win. I think Pegula sucks and I don't believe that he gives a ***** about the fans and is using the team as some sort of rich douche hobby for himself.

And if it's true that he doesn't like to be embarrassed, um,... too late.

Terry and his team are an embarrassment.

    This sucks.

I posted this just before the Sabres game started last night...

I'm watching the Devils Blues game, and NJ just got off of a powerplay. They didn't score, not even many great chances...but I noticed they seem to do EVERYTHING on the Powerplay much faster than the Sabres...especially entering the zone.  They carry the puck in with speed, and when they pass the puck around it just happens so much faster and more often...its almost like the Sabres PP in comparision is watching them on the first day of practice on the first day of training camp.

Maybe its just Jack Hughes is so fast and so skilled he can carry the puck in like that and the Sabres dont' have anyone.  Even when they had Eichel, he was fast but he didn't use his speed entering the zone on the PP (he would mostly carry it in and then slow down).  I'm not sure if the Sabres have anyone that can play that way....maybe, MAYBE Dahlin is probably the most 'skilled' puck handler on the team...I wonder if there was every a though of letting someone else QB the PP from the blue line..and let Dahlin be one of the guys to not only carry the puck in, but actually play down low instead of up high at the blue-line?

You mean they don’t start skating and then drop pass it to a teammate in their own zone who then tries to bust threw three defenders before getting picked off… weird 🤔
