Funny.
Looking back: the Sabres traded Moulson and McCormick for Mitchell, Gorges, a 2nd-round pick, Moulson and McCormick.
This is what makes me happy about this: GMTM (GAMETIME) clearly has a plan and is not afraid to go after it. Not the most exciting player but I do want to see whose feathers him and Kaleta could ruffle if they get paired on a line. Solid penalty killing if nothing else.

And a side order of home fries!
With onions!
I would really like to see him reach his full potential, regardless if the sabres big heads feel that is with 0 NHL minutes and developing in the AHL or if he does indeed crack the lineup a few times. As much as I liked Girgs play last year I think that he will eventually even out to a level lower than Grigs. It may take a few years (the kid is young) but I think that he has a place on this team going forward and I see him offering something to the team.

My god today just keeps on giving, welcome back Mr Moulson
I just don't feel right without someone on the team having the same name as a beer
Now for the US to beat Belgium... Gionta, Moulson, US trifecta; I won't even be sad about not getting Orpik
-
Did not expect this, I'm pleasantly surprised.
Welcome home Gionta!
-
See article on Google now feed, go to check the forum... Holy Crap 9 pages, did not disappoint
Is there a grab the popcorn emoticon? This thread deserves one!
With that said, I whole heartedly agree with other posters and would love to see Orpik in our Jersey come the start of the season.

If Belhurst got your attention try Geneva on the Lake. Similar venue just up the road (closer to Geneva), still has Seneca Lake as a gorgeous backdrop. Got married 2 years ago on Seneca at my parents residence (across from Fox Run Vineyards) and would recommend anywhere on the lake for a wedding :-)
I think Glenora Winery further down 14 also does weddings as well.

There's a pretty good Youtube vortex that I find myself circling down every once in a while of downhill mountain biking, but this is my favorite.

I love all the extra safety features the Chileans put into their courses.
That dog at :36: "I'm walking here!"

Bradley's touches seemed suspect that match, cost a few offensive opportunities and made a few defensive ones scarier than they needed to be...with that said GO USA!
Red card against Belgium, our R16 opponents might not be set in stone

I am drinking luke warm Dos Equis , on a plane bouncing all over the place in a storm, with smells like someone pooped their pants, after sitting through 3 hours delay at DFW....and longing for more Luke warm Dos Equis to help me forget that I think I am going to die over Louisiana somewhere.
Cheers!
Ouch, hope you land safe and can get some quality refreshment...I had belgium waffles for dinner with corn beef hash

with the reboot starring the Megan Fox coming out, it was time.
WHAT!? Please tell me this is a rumor....is it Thursday yet? I have something to complain about

A player that is rumored to be non-existant had the same offensive production as a player we're paying 1.3 a year for 6(?) years...Ville Leino eat your heart out
And to anybody that disputes his existence I have proof right here :bag: He posts rather frequently
-
I think i just lost 10 years of my life
-
Other than the Ville Leino'esque defensive moment, we had a bunch of good chances...if we can start getting those on net we might get an equalizer

Question: what's with the use of shaving cream to mark ball spots and defender lines? Is this something new?

Not one over time win? Surely a shootout will go our way...

There were tears and a whole lot of swearing at The Old Toad (the British pub here in Rochester), it was a blast. I want to go back for the US games.

Here is my .02 and two pictures to make tankalicious happy:
We should get a few UFAs to get to the cap floor. UFAs that will help guide our youth and fit in with the coaches system, and possibly as a bonus stick around longer in a support/3rd line role. Puts some rims on the tank, and maybe a better sound system.
I absolutely don't want to give picks away to improve the team in the short term. I've had enough of the last ten years bubble team cycle. I will cry if we do something stupid and shortsighted only to make 8th place and lose in the first round. Ending up in the bottom 3 teams is better in my mind than pos. 10-1 and not making the playoffs the following year.
The way I see it we will get 1.5 NHL ready players from the Draft after next season AND after rostering them still having a pool of prospects that rivals other weaker Draft years.
It may be irrational but I want to capitalize on this chance and make a team that wins the cup every three years while never missing the playoffs in the meantime. Dammit I want to watch the sabres after my birthday (3/30) and not feel indifferent about their performance.
And so, tank on!

The african countries are letting me down a bit, Ivory coast will have to do it for all of them.
I remember my FIFA 90 something game for oringinal Game Boy that had Brazil and Camroon as the two hardest teams to play. Camroon didn't fair so well against Croatia this tournament, my brick of a Game Boy is turning in its grave.

Holy crap Spain....

Put on a little too much peanut butter, eh?
Or he has peppermint candy nips...my mom has horses and they love anything peppermint
 I'd actually never watched it before... was gonna look for something on Hulu but that was on and mildly entertaining, so I left it. I was surprised the announcer called the Achilles injury by sound, though (he said it before the contestant grabbed his ankle).
I've watched ANW since it was just on G4 and in Japanese, it's an excellent show and most of the athletes on there could have the show footage directly ported to the "things that are awesome" thread and fit right in. The conditioning and all around training (muscle, balance, athleticism, etc) of the competitors is astounding.
Try and find the US vs Japan special (3ish? episodes) it was really cool
-
It is a crowded market for such things.....I don't know. Fun idea though.
That would be awesome, I watched a lot of cricket when I was in Australia and got in to it... Looks like a blast to play and some of the variations could even catch on TV here

Hot days call for gin. Tanqueray.
Bombay sapphire (and the accompanying tonic) will make me malaria proof by the end of the summer
As for tonight it was grill night: Asiago burgers topped with thick cut bacon, grilled sandwich turkey, tomatoes and avacado. Sides: garlic parmesan broccoli and some fruit salad.
Excellent but next time I'm going to have to concoct an aioli for the burgers and get some sturdier buns
