Just checked NHLN schedule and the Ottawa game will be re-broadcast at 10:30 EDT tonight.
-
For those of us living outside of WNY: does anyone know if any of the preseason games are going to be streamed on-line or if there may be another way to watch them?
I see that NHL Network is going to re-broadcast one of the Leafs games on Saturday 9/26 at 8:00am but that's about all I can find.
Thanks!!!

Not a "concert" but more of a festival kind of thing, we'll be going to the Big Blues Bender in Vegas this coming September. Three + days with 40 National and Internationaly known Blues artists performing in a pretty intimate setting.
We've been on a couple of 7-day Blues Cruises in the past but this is shorter in duration and a lot less expensive. And the immersion into the music and the people is a great experience.
If you are a Blues fan like I am, this should be an awesome trip.

Didn't see this posted but according to Hamilton, the cap-hit breakdown is pretty weird:
2015 - $1.04 Million
2016 - $ 541,667
2017 - $ 41,667
2018 - $ 458,333 CREDIT!
2019 thru 2022 - $791,667 per year

'GR stated they'd have it live.

I think that Melisandre's return to Castle Black is going to prove to be very fortuitous.
I'm hoping that WoW is actually completed by the end of the year. I think that this will light an even bigger fire under GRRM.

Sansa's wedding was never consummated. So by the laws of the 7 Kingdoms it can be set aside.
Ok. I get that but in the teaser chapter from WoW, Sansa/Alayne states (to herself) that she cannot remarry unless Tyrion is dead. That got me to thinking.
-
I decided to checkout the latest teaser chapter of WoW released by GRRM and something hit me as I read the first couple of paragraphs: In the HBO series, Sansa's marriage to Ramsey is not legal. "Why?" you may ask? Because she is still married to Tyrion (Unless I missed the divorce somewhere).
Was this fact overlooked by fans due to the outrage over Sansa's wedding night? I can't believe that the showrunners simply overlooked this.
Also, is my avatar upside down? On my PC it's fine but on my iPad it's upside down.
Thanks!

You guys are making me starting to turn around on Byslma. In the end i don't care who the new coach will be if he brings us a cup. :P
Me too. I don't post here very much (you can thank me later) but this board has been a part of my daily routine for many years. Great dialog and insights on all things Sabres.
Bylsma does have a strong résumé and as was also recently mentioned, winning with Crosby and Malkin isn't a bad thing. He was able to put it all together and be successful in Pittsburgh.
Hopefully, Murray can get this done sooner rather than later and move on to the business of winning!

1) True
2) Agree but Julien would be about equal should he become available
3) Trade for a player
4) 100%
5) Pittsburgh

As Cereal posted: It looks like they're going to completely conflict the USA/RUS game and the gold metal game with both games 1 of the conference finals. So dumb.
So, I was just reading how Eichel has had "instant chemistry" with his linemates, Trevor Lewis and Brock Nelson...
Does anybody think that Brock Nelson could be a trade target for Tim Murray? He is 23 years old, and had 42 points in 82 games this year.
He was drafted 30th overall...would the Islanders trade him for their 2015 1st or 2nd back? Or, maybe we can just sign him to an offer sheet, as he's an RFA this summer.
Would this not be a pretty smart idea for Murray to provide Eichel with a familiar (young) face, that he can grow and develop (and dominate) with?

Streaming on NBC Live Extra...which is pretty stupid, if you ask me. What else is on a Saturday at 1:15PM in the middle of May?
Soccer?
Didn't GMTM say he tried for a different goalie? Winnipeg has Eric Comrie and he is their goalie of the future. (Pretty sure people thought that is who Murray was referring to.) Wouldn't surprise me if that is who he was after, but ended up having to settle for Kasdorf...and he makes another move for Hellebuyck. -
Dreger just tweeted that TSN will air an exclusive interview, taped in Prague, with both Holland and Babcock about the Red Wings future, etc. Supposed to cover a variety of subjects.
Hard to believe that Babcock would agree to this if he wasn't going to stay in DET.

Buffalo Brew Pub (near Main and Transit) is always a more-than-solid choice for Wings and has a great selection of beers too.
Our tradition when flying back to BUF is: get the rental car and go straight to the BBP.

Did anyone catch the USA/Austria game yesterday? I was able to watch the last 2 periods on-line. I'm hoping that it was just an off night and also know that one game doesn't say much but...Eichel was pretty un-impressive IMO.
The worst for me was that they sent him in to take 3 important face-offs: 2-PP and 1-PK and he got smoked on all three. I also tried to watch him and only him during his shifts and (something I also noticed during the Frozen Four): He seems to shy away from most physical situations.
Again, I've only watched him play 4 times this year so it can't be the whole story. But this small sampling has me a little concerned.
Has anyone else seen these tendencies?

Sorry y'all, IMO, as I've suspected for years given the gap between novels, GRRM has no clue where to take this story and is allowing the HBO team to do whatever they want so he can keep cashing checks.
It's obvious that we are now going off the reservation as far as the story goes and HBO is really cutting corners to get to their ending.
Incredibly disappointing first three weeks for me.

Very cool. The Long Green Line!
My family and I recently took that new flight on Allegiant, Niagara Falls - Punta Gorda direct for a reasonable price. Could be a game changer.
Punts Gorda is gonna need more rental cars! . It's a great small airport. I've flown Allegiant out of there a few times but this new NF flight should be great for us the next time we come home. Really reasonable airfares if you can book in advance.

Not in Las Vegas and it's not as cool as they make it look......
Love the area, especially Sanibel..... Mom and Dad lives CC
Sanibel is cool. Very laid-back and beautiful. Lots of hidden gems on the island. If you ever get to CC, give a shout and we can get a beverage. Always great to talk Sabres over a brew or two.

Can you let me know if the Tuckaway Cafe on Estero Blvd is ever up for sale? :) my wife and I want to buy it and live on the beach into retirement. :/
Will do Ink. FMB is really going strong right now and they're talking about a multi-year project to actually widen Estero Blvd, add real sidewalks and make it much more business-friendly.
