On that play where the Ottawa player shot it straight at Enroth's pad he called it a "world class save." I don't think he has any sort of ###### for Miller like you thought a while back, he just really likes saves I guess.

I figured it was a projection but I didn't understand how anyone would think he doesn't score at least 3 or 4 goals projected over this whole season at least if he already scored 2 goals (**woops I thought he scored twice.) I understand it's a small sample size for this season as well, still think he has some value, even if it's just AHL depth.Two more over 57 games. I didn't say he "can" do anything. I took your claim that five points in 25 games is good, and projected it over an 82 game season.

Maybe if you ignore the reason he's only played 25 games: injuries.
But his stats over an 82 game season are about 3 goals and 13 assists. That's not good.
So you're saying McCormick scores 1 more goal in 57 more games

McCormick has more value than you guys seem to think. For a fourth liner 5 points in 25 games isn't bad at all.
He's a competitor, kills penalty like Kaleta, isn't dirty at all, finishes checks,has a high hockey i.q for a 4th line player
Did I mention he brings a lot of energy?

I'm surprised you're only going back that far. For me everything started falling apart in 2007. Losing to the Senators in 5 games was it. The dream was dead.

The thing with Miller is that there is no arena in the world which could make it more possible to showcase talent than the Olympics can.
Do you think hockey people/teams will be watching?
If Miller is phenomenal in the Olympics, blanks Crosby and wins gold, what is more of a showcase than that?....
And you know Miller is playing his best hockey he has ever played and is clutch like that- a good quality for any Olympic goaltender.
Do you think maybe the GM will wait until after the Olympics is over to show-case and bolster trade value?

Yes but it is the Olympic break. Who knows maybe he gets called up half way through the remaining AHL season on the assumption he'll be called up again and then gets sent right back down for AHL playoffs once the reg. season is over,
