  1. If you could give up a second/third and Nuevirth in the summer for a GOOD established goaltender  who puts up better numbers I say do it (Sabres third would be close to a 2nd, 2nd would be close to a 1st for added value)

if that's not enough for a top - notch goalie throw in a late first instead

btw I mentioned replace Weber because I wasn't sure if the Sabres had room for him or not, but now that I think of it he's been decent all year and is a mean defenceman with a strong crease presence that any team needs. I remember wanting him to wear an A, but if I recall correctly,  he did not have the best of seasons last year
    (who would?)

  2. Stewart is a gritty RW who can score, I'm pretty sure the Sabres need a RW atm. I'm conflicted whether they trade him, If they trade him it makes sense because his trade value is very high. If there's no chance he signs, trade him for a 2nd and a top prospect preferably a RW, The Sabres could afford to lose a few games without him anyway. I think Murray will sign two solid veteran players next year (preferably older, next year the Sabres will probably have a young team) I think you can get a 4th out of Mitchell or a third if packaged with another player or pick (4th and mitchell for a 3rd...?).. I'm willing to give Hodgson another chance. He was putting up good numbers a season or two ago. was really hoping the Sabres would hold onto Armia, he is super skilled and is  a RW. I hope the Sabres ditch Flynn, Mitchell, Beniot, Meszaros, Strachan and/or Weber Not sure if anyone else has much trade value though.

  3. I really hate when race comes into the topic of conversation simply because of the fact that said player is of different ethnic back-ground. It's like we get it, Kane's black, so what? It's his on ice performance that matters. it can be an extra-terrestrial life form from deep space and I really wouldn't care as long as its putting up good numbers. Someone on a different site suggested the Sabres get Kane because it would "draw the inner city" crowd.. That's one of the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Some people suggested that Kane should be put on a line with Stewart, because he's black, he can "mentor" him, again ridiculous. I though the civil rights movement was years ago. Why even bring up race? It gives the very small minority of people who are racist attention and influence

  4. Zadorov is clearly ready. Armia will crack the line-up next year and, he has top 6 potental, not based on what I read, but by what I observed. Zadorov will be much better  next year, as will Ristolainen. They are top prospects. and yes i consider them prospects based on their age. I think your guys idea of how good these players are are skewed due to this historically bad team. Ignore Ristolainen's and Gorges +/-. Gorges is actually a fairly good player.

  5. Armia is NHL ready next year. I can tell from watching him play. that gives us a player on RW next season, and I think the Sabres should re-sign Stewart, he's been one of the sabre's best players. No thanks to Evander Kane. Stafford will be gone at the deadline.

  6. If somehow Halak, Okposo, and Tavares simultaneously goes down, and the Islanders go wayyyy down.

and Tarasenko, Pietrangelo, Elliot, T.J Oshie, and Alex Steen mysteriously come down with the mumps and are out indefinitely

and the Sabres picks in the 2015 draft is 1,2, and 3...

Darcy effing Regier would be a f***ing legend, a fable, a myth, a house-hold name, an iconic enigmatic spark of masculinity and prowess,; a living manifestation of the city of light incarnate

the Sabres woud build a renaissance-esque marble statue of Darcy effing Regier outside of the FNC

With busts of McDavid, Eichel, and Hanifin glowing in the street lights under the First Niagara center for generations to come
