Not a bad idea at all. Or do it hockey style and have the guy dribble in from the circle (with the goalkeeper free to move). Possibly require the shooter to shoot by a certain point on the field.
Yeah, they should just switch to how its done in indoor soccer, its pretty much the same as a hockey penalty shot. The shooter starts a bit further back than the normal soccer penalty kick dot and can dribble the ball, the goalkeeper is allowed to come off the line and challenge the shooter.

and due to having to draft 30th, Buffalo will draft first overall.

Agreed. You cannot as an organization give up the pick this year and say "well we're going to be awful next year so that pick is going to be even better just wait!"
We'll be getting next year's pick. I have no doubt.

As a Chargers fan, I agree with you guys, the reffing seemed a bit one sided, but I would place most of the blame on EJ, he was over-throwing and under-throwing everybody. My Dad was already calling for Kyle Orton... :blink:
