I have the game on tv, listening to the Sabres radio feed...
Sabres certainly controlled the play, just couldn't get by Broduer.

Congrats to the team for finally losing that monkey. There are still several things about this game that bothered me, but a win is a win....
Lets hope it continues tomorrow.

Bruins goal should bnever have gotten that far. Guastad had the entire line to shoot it out, and puts it right along the far boards on the Bruin defensman's stick......

First-blush reaction: this is a defense that is going to get on my nerves, and a forward group that is way too cute for their own good.
There have been several "too cute" plays over recent games. Some are ok, understandable, etc... but the one that just kills me, and has happened MANY times lately, is the passing of the puck when you have a shot from the mid-slot.
Tallinder did it tonite. You're sitting dead in the slot, no bodies blocking in front of you, and you pass off to a corner. WHAT IS UP WITH THAT??????
If you've got the shot, TAKE IT.
Now on a good note. We're in decent shape going into the third. If they play this third like all their others, we'll be a happy group tonite.

I just got home from the game and I only have one comment after another disappointing loss. When the Sabres made it 4-3, it was the loudest I have heard the crowd all season long.
GO SABRES!!!
We could certainly here it ROCKIN there for a while through the tv.....

True, but we didn't look as "lost" this game, if that makes any sense....... Goals were a little strange tonite.....

5 periods without a goal..... Overall, the team skated a little better these two periods, but are so far out of synch it's rediculous. Seems like a lot of decision brought on by a loss of confidence

As an oservation, Vanek still does not have his head in the game for whatever reason. If he keeps this up, I think he'll be back eating doggie biscuits again very soon.

Thanks Rock, but I get the same "not available" message. I get the sinking feeling I'm in MSG territory or something, even though I'm in PA and my cable system doesn't offer it. Is that how it works? Can people in Buffalo get the Sabres games on DirecTV? You could fry an egg on my head right now.
I don't think it should matter, since it's showing the FSN feed anyway and not the MSG feed. I'm very sorry. Wish I could help ya more....
The CI channels in the high 700's are specifically for CI subscribers, supposedly regardless of where you live.
