For all the #%^$#! that Hitchcock took, he made the proper adjustments and got his team ready. He has them clogging up the middle beautifully. I have the feeling that they will be better tonight. Some of the play in our own end was atrocious on Saturday. I think Lydman had something like 7 turnovers himself. Obviously they won that game so any improvment tonight will make them even tougher to beat. Man I would love to go to Philly 2-0. How huge would that be???

I wouldn't mind an 8-0 win tonight, I am so wound up I think I am going to burst! I am not sure I could handle a 2-1 2nd overtime game tonight!

In reading the Philadelphia coverage, it is really clear that they are putting all of their hopes in Peter Forsberg and that they don't have the slightest chance without him. It would seem like the thing to do the first two games in buffalo is to keep Drury and Grier on the ice everytime he is and just pound away on him and see if you can keep him out of games 3 and 4. I know it really isn't Buffalo's style, but I can't see giving him a hall pass and letting him play. If he keeps getting lined up, it certainly will wear him down.

So thats why Darcy didn't trade Biron. I get it now. Cheers to Darcy. Miller is done for this season. Way too much a head case. Biron is the new starter.

You know this is the first time I have been pissed at Darcy and his failure to get a defenseman at the deadline. How many freaking times is Kalinin going to give the puck up in the buffalo zone. I am so sick of Kalinin and his breakdowns. why is Kalinin still getting shifts???? holy #%^$#!! he is still out there! YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They have to start Marty tonight. You don't want to make head cases out of BOTH goalies right now. I really don't care who plays, as long as they play well enough to go deep. I am sure that if Buffalo was being presented the Stanley Cup, there would be no debate on which goalie got us there. Ride the hot hand! On another note, this game is hugely important. I do not believe they will win the division under any circumstance, but we need to have a convincing win against Ottawa before the playoffs. We may have to play them there and we need to get this monkey of our backs. Very big game tonight.
