No real effort to add a quality top 6 player, actual bottom 6 players, a quality top 4 D and Veteran Goalie.

I would seriously call the Oilers and make a legit offer for McDavid. Then sign Kane.
More realistic, we could acquire a top 6 Center via trade with picks and prospects and sign Kane

I know it’s extremely unlikely….but if the Oilers continue to implode, McDavid could ask for a trade in the summer
make a call and open the discussions
