THIS IS NOT A REAL THING BUT FOR CONVERSATION’S SAKE:

I had a dream last night we traded Risto, Mittelstadt, Borgen and 7 for Taylor Hall WITH AN EXTENSION SIGNED. Would you make that trade?

No. Take out Mittelstadt or 7 and replace with low lvl prospect or a 4th rounder then I would.

  2. I like those changes. I think the NHL is doing a good job with the rules for safety and integrity of the game. Except the last one.

PUCK OUT OF BOUNDS: When the attacking team is responsible for the puck going out of play in the attacking zone, in all instances, the face-off will be conducted at one of the two face-off dots in the attacking zone.

i could see teams taking advantage of this and intentionally putting a puck out of play if they are out of place to reset.

Working on that now. As bad as it may sound, I’ve been drinking Naturdays quite a bit lately. Usually if im drinking an alcoholic lemonade drink it’s going to be with vodka, but these are delicious. I’ve got a few grapefruit sculpins left but I’ll save those for another day.

Sadly those things are delicious. It pained me to enjoy them and they are so cheap.

Pretty sure that’s the right glass for a heady topper. Definitely doesn’t need a flute, shaker pint, mug, or stout glass. Unless I missed something.

I guess I did miss something lol I’m not sure how drinking from the can makes sense though, but maybe I’m too snobby

It says on the can you will lose flavor by pouring it. I prefer a glass and that is the correct glass for that type of beer.

Last I checked Heady Topper was one of the highest rated beers in the country on beer advocate and nearly impossible to buy in stores. Does it live up to its reputation? Missed it when I was in the area.

It’s a great beer and definitely worth getting if you can. I got half a case to take home with me. I do have to say the Treehouse Julius and some of their other  beers are better but they are even harder to get your hands on

  6. I personally want Pod and think he will be the best player outside of the top two guys. I also think he will fall in the 10-15 range and who ever takes him will be happy they did and the pundits will question why he dropped 5 years from now. I hope we take a chance on him.

But wouldn’t you say that value to a team is more important than individual contribution when it comes to these awards?  I think Binnington should get the Calder because at his position he was excellent especially when it counted in the playoffs and he was a cornerstone piece of the team that won the cup.  This is not to diminish what Pettersson did during the season.

It’s a purely regular season award just like the Hart. So with that and him only playing half the season he’s 3rd on my list and Peterson wins it he was the best rookie this year and it really wasn’t even that close.

I try and balance it out, I find my spot, find the pic I really want, take 2 or 3 of my shot, mainly adjusting the shutter speed and then it goes away and I take the moment in. I delete the ones I didn't like at the end of my night in.

I have a hard time dealing with the touristy acting people doing model shots and etc.... Get over yourself people.

I was a photographer in the Navy so that part of me is still there a little

    Still rocking the Galaxy S7

When I traveled I would take a few pictures myself but non of them with me in it. I think that ruins it. My wife on the other hand is the opposite she takes tons of pictures and I have to pose with her for some lol.

The last time I traveled more than to see family or a day trip was when I was in the Navy myself. One of the benefits. For my commands training I got to spend a month in Alaska and Key West. It was nice being an IT at an Air Squadron. I set up the computer over a couple of days then chilled out and enjoyed where we were.

Carolina also had respectable goaltending this year. Mrazek posted a .914 in 40 starts and McElhinney had a .912 in 33. If our goaltenders had posted those numbers we'd probably have improved our goal differential by 30 (note: I didn't actually do the math).

I ran the numbers as if it was a save percentage of .913 for both guys and it was an 8 goal difference for Hutton and a 9 goal difference for Ullmark for a total of 17.
