Giving up a lot of late goals in periods lately.
I'll take a point tonight, but I doubt it will happen.

This is why I NEVER want Vancouver and Buffalo to meet in the Finals.
It sucks.
They gave a good effort in 1 and 3 from what I heard, but period 2 was brutal.
The Canucks are a good checking team, but Buffalo is a much better squad. They just don't seem to burying their opps lately. I'm sure that will change tho.

They may have the best PK in the world, but they only had one shorty going into tonight's game. The poster is correct in saying how bad our pp is. A 2 on 1 shorthanded is bad. A clearcut breakaway is brutal. And 2 passes were made to spring him.
Briere?? Take the hit like a man. 3 penalties in a row kill momentum. Just kill it. Play hockey.

Their pp is a joke. Honestly.
Sabourin has zero NHL wins. Just like the Sabres to help get that changed around.
Shots are what, 15-5 canucks in the 2nd. They played last night. Brutal.

Bad feeling. We're all over them. The Canucks are getting the breaks these days. One post, one disallowed goal. Come on Buffalo.

Sabourin is in.
In his 3 previous starts he's given up a goal very early in the game. Once giving up 2 on 3 shots. Another on his first shot of the game.
He does settle down nicely though. Imperative to get a good start.
The Canucks hang around it could be trouble. The Canucks are ripe for the picking. 2nd game in as many nights. Already a very successful roady. An early barrage by Buffalo and they'll pack it in.

Don't expect the Sabres to get out of their pp troubles against Vancouver. They are killer on the PK.

Gotta score first if you're Buffalo. Watching the Canucks team play on a reg basis, this team is night and day different when they score first.
It will be tight though, seems they always are.

We are up by a goal as I type this, yet we've been dominated so far. Miller some huge saves already.
Dog days are here. As long as we peak at the right time, I'm good. Experience will get them through this eventually.
I thought the Bruin announcer made an interesting point. He said the Sabres would like their PP to be better, but they don't have a real pressing need just yet to get it going, as they are so far ahead of other teams.

I feel sorry for Ryan. Two shorties in the last minute have screwed him over shutouts this season. Poor guy. He's lost, what, 3 in the last minute this year?
