With all these moves and how they are just adding guys with size and nastiness I think it’s just a matter of time till Sammy is gone
I sure hope so.

Hmmmm so another year with minor band-aids coming up
Exactly. I wasn't expecting much and it turns out it was less than that. I'm not surprised. The organization is rudderless. Hello 15 years.

It's all just so horrible. It seems that the Sabres don't even play in the NHL. They're just there for other teams to grab our young developed talent and gain two points while laughing their way out of town. I honestly don't blame the players past and present who want to get TF out of here. Maybe Jorma can bring some meaningful change, but given the direction of this franchise. I doubt it. They have a horrible reputation with players around the league. Terry has to sell, but he won't. We all just have to pray he gets lucky like he did with the Bills. Depending on luck is a lonely place to be. It sucks, but they did this to themselves.

This may sound crazy, but this series reminds me of a Bills/Chiefs playoff game. Edmonton just doesn't have enough.

I just didn’t see one sided officiating last night. Although, admittedly, I wasn’t watching all that closely. I did see plenty of plays by the panthers that I thought should have been penalties and weren’t.
That's what Florida does and they're masters at it. This is shaping up to be an all-time series. We'll see where it goes from here. Knobloch seems to have the magic touch. Talk about knowing your team.

I think some of you are missing the point. Finally, an adult in the room with a successful past, other than Lindy. Will it work? That's anyone's guess but having an experienced voice in the organization is a positive thing. We'll see.

It's a race to get to two goals. Really depends on who gets to their game first. Get ready for a few OT games in this series.

Am I reading the box score right? Only one penalty and that was at the end of 3rd and could very well have been a PS. Great job by the refs letting them play.

That was a fantastic game that had almost everything. The energy in Montreal is unmatched. So much intrigue going into game 4 regarding the G's on both teams, not to mention to instant hatred between two teams that really don't have a lot of history. Playoffs. You gotta love it. Anyone remember those days...?

I like Lindy but I honestly don't care what his initial analysis is from him or the players. This season was a failure of epic proportions. Roster construction is flawed more than the O rings on the Challenger. In what world does a 30+ goal scorer have to take ot upon himself to stand for his teammates? I hate this team and the 35,000 foot retrospective overlay only makes it worse. F them.

Adam’s talking about the winless streak annoyed me. I felt like he really sort of minimized it. Leans into the maturity narrative yet again. If that’s the case, why was it not addressed during the offseason? Bulldog could have easily followed up asking why they continue to not bring in more maturity.
My God, so many questions left unasked. I always thought S&B had no credibility, but this just cements it. They talk tough when KA is not on the line, but when he is, they throw softballs. Here's a question about roster construction: why is your 34 goal scorer dropping the gloves when the opposition takes liberties? Why isn't there 3 players on the roster to not only prevent it, but initiate it? S&B are a joke but we knew that already.

I just listened to KA on GR. Even the most drunken overweight bar league player could hit those softballs those idiots asked him.

It actually matters a lot.
Not really. RJ pulled it off for over 20 years.

It really doesn't matter. He's got way more of a grasp than Dunleavy. I know radio and TV are different, but you either have it or you don't. Dunleavy doesn't.

Running errands and Sirius has the Winnipeg broadcast on NHL Radio. I can actually follow the action. The pxp guy is miles above Dunleavy.

So, if I'm reading the box score correctly, Stanlund, who the penalty was on, got credited for the en goal. Unreal. You can't make this up.

LOL. Of course that just happened. Unreal.

Lol. MSG is a joke. Can't even display the lines correctly.

In the 65th game, the team we thought they could be, showed up. The mobbing of Dahlin on the tying goal seemed playoff-like. Unfortunately, that's as close as they'll get this season. I'm taking 24 hours to enjoy a really good moment in a season with only a few of them. Btw- great read and play by Byram on the tying goal. Oh what could have been.

Disgraceful. IDC what he does in Ottawa, that was absolutely shameful and I'm glad he's gone.

Once again Ferraro tells the truth we've seen for years. He seems incredulous nobody will help their captain. Been this way for years Ray. We're disgusted too.
-
Leave it to Ferraro to say the obvious. The team has no stones and don't stand up for each other. Criticizing Couzens for not stepping in for Dahlin is right. Never hear that on MSG.

OT: Change to Production of Sabres Broadcasts
in The Aud Club

Sabres broadcast has always been bad, production wise. Those of us old enough, remember the 93 series with Boston, where they missed the handshake line. Completely.
