Happy New Year all. Been awhile since I've been here, but thought I'd offer some thoughts.
First off, I don't get to see many games here on the West Coast, but from the games I have seen, the team is far more entertaining than the previous 2 seasons. Their effort is definitely there but the fact is they are still a young squad, looking to gain experience and get better.
They seem to be getting more shots but when the scoring dries up, they are in tough.
To me, at least, they are working harder, creating more chances, and overall a more entertaining team. It looks like they they still lack the timely goal and timely save, but that will come. They are playing 2 backup goalies. The league is so tight. To me, they are a far better team than before. I'd take the Sabres over Canucks as far as where their teams are in the rebuild. The Canucks two best players are still the Sedins. That is very troublesome.
I am surprised they are only 3 points ahead of last year's pace, but that's fine. They are on the right track and the pieces are there. Another high pick will not hurt them. As long as they keep growing as a team, the future is very bright and it won't take long.
I ramble, yes, but bottom line for me is, the team is coming. This isn't a group that has no future to look fwd to. This is a group that is almost right there, and when it all comes together, it's gonna be fun!

Yep. I think Jack will be a first line center on a SC team. Hope he is still with the Sabres when it happens.

Yeah if its not ROR or Eichel nobody is scoring on this team at the moment, they might as well play without sticks to save the team money.

Just saw it tonight in 3D with my family....We all loved the movie.....It reminded me of why I loved the original films.............Going to see it again with my cousin on Friday.

This is so fu%king stupid...and tragic. The DA, or someone with authority, needs to crack down on leaks like this. There is no reason for the public to know unless he is charged. Now someone is giving WKBW, I think it was, pictures of Kane's vehicle being towed. Someone needs an ass-whipping and a lesson on how to keep quiet.

I think beating the Bruins is always awesome, then you throw in a comeback staged by the two new Pillars of the team and I can recall a Sabre Game that I have liked as much as this in a long time my friend.

That was easily my favourite Sabre game in at least 5 or 6 years.........ROR and Eichel taking the Bruins to the woodshed.....Gotta love it

That's endemic on this forum. We worry about their warts when they hit the trading block. We think in terms of "is that enough to get rid of them?"
Agreed with the undervaluing of our players........My best example of this is how many people hated Brian Campbell on this board......Very solid NHL defensemen that most people here couldn't trade quick enough

I don't agree with this at all. GMTM wasn't going to trade Myers without a top 4 defenseman coming back.
Having said that, I generally agree that Ennis and Foligno isn't going to get it done. The Sabres would need to include something like Pysyk, McCabe or Zemgus.
I also agree that next year's #1 is off the table.
Agreed, our #1 should be off the table.........I think no big trades need to get done until the summer and that could be avoided by a free agent signing or two.

Have the first 2 you mentioned. Bloodbourne is bad arss. I bought The Witcher 3 on Black Friday for $25. Waiting until Christmas to play it though. And man, I want Fallout 4. But as many have mentioned, dlc is a big part today's gaming industry. In a year a special edition will be released w/ all dlc included, and it'll be the same price as the one in stores right now. Really considering waiting on it.
the first DLC for the Witcher is very good.....Just bought the BloodBourner DLC but haven't played it yet
