When Lehner is on, he's arguably the best player on the ice. When he's off. he's really off. Both of those things scream young goaltender with serious skills coming off of a serious injury to me. His future and our future with him are bright if you ask me. Having him and Ullmark going into next season is a great position to be in.
I like him too, I think if he had been healthy all year we would be in a better spot then we are now.........Hope he can stay healthy and put his game in order

I was watching the pre-game last week for the Sabres vs the Habs on TSN and they we're talking about the Habs had a great chance to break out of their slump because they we're playing the lowly Buffalo Sabres.....I started getting pissed hearing that garbage.....I was like we are gonna beat these Hab bastards and then we did.......It felt good to feel that way again, the Tank is done and I am glad.

Lehner's reaction after the goal tells me his mind was on the call not making the save.
Tell me what was so "super sick" about Marchand's move? It was about as basic a move as you will see on a penalty shot. He skated in, Lehner began to fall and he went to the backhand. The wan't really anything that impressive about Marchand's move.
Actually, he opened up his stance, so you couldn't tell which way he way going, pump faked twice and pivoted on his right foot to get the quick back hand..........Watch the replay again to see all that he did.......By the way the Sabres should watch it again, because our guys have no moves whatsoever

It was an obvious bad call, which happen. I would have liked to see Lehner make the save there which nullifies the bad call. The graphic above is cute, I would have liked to see Lehner do more than fall on his stomach on the penalty shot. Would have been great to see him pickup his young teammate up with a save after a bad shift.
Lehner might have looked bad on that PS, but you didn't happen to notice the super wicked move that Marchand put on him???? Marchand is a total douchebag but his move was bad ass and that is why Lehner looked bad on that PS......Lehner played great in that game and yes it would have been great if he pulled off an amazing save on the PS, but to say that he just fell on his stomach for no reason is not fair at all.

I'll try to post this while still laughing at the gifs above.
There is a single explanation I have for that shootout selection. There is a belief in the front office that 1 point is better than 2 this season.
The Sabres will be good, but not THAT good yet.
I'm going back to laughing at the gifs. It makes me feel better.
Also, Eichel is hanging onto the past. How many times is he going to attempt the wrap around attempt he had success with in Ottawa? I think I saw it twice last night and at least once in Montreal. It's like.. ooo, this worked once.

Screw The Last of Us. Never played it. Never will.
I have an unjustified hate for that game purely because it started as a Jak & Daxter project and then warped into The Last of Us over time... Although the early art for the Jak & Daxter game might actually mean that scrapping the project was a blessing in disguise.
