So if Dal beats STL, we're guaranteed at least pick #19 with our 2nd first round pick. Could be better if COL or LV come out of the other west bracket and/or Columbus/Carolina get to the east finals. If STL beats DAL, we get pick #28 at best. Pretty big difference.

Rumor from another board has Jbotts sitting next to Lindy Ruff on a plane from Ft. Lauderdale today. Take it for what it's worth - Lindy may be on the Canadian staff for the worlds??

So if STL loses, Columbus wins the next round, as does Dallas and Colorado and Vegas meet next round we get pick #17. Wishful thinking......

So if Columbus wins the next round and STL loses before the conference finals the STL pick moves up to at least 19, we reclaim it and ANA gets the SJ pick. The pick could go higher if other teams ahead of STL (like LV) get to the conference finals

It would be nice to play well today and have a high scoring loss. Similar to our home finale, hoping Detroit plays inspired in their home finale. They were in Contention for last overall before winning something like 8 of their last 10, so they've been playing well, especially Larkin's line. I expect skinner to resign shortly after the end of the season, as the sabres need some good news to give their fans. Especially after the confirm housley is coming back

It's hard to put to words how bad Ottawa is. I guess the best way to explain it is they make buffalo look like Tampa Bay.

It's football season.
1/2+ of this team I really hope I don't see on the sabres next year. Housley is over his head but he won't be fired until next year, with similar results

That's all we do is burn it down. Botts is fine, housley not. Sick of it always being about the draft....but....we're 10th now and the four teams below us are all within 4 points and have 1-2 games in hand. Sad it's come to this. FA for football opens Monday and they can start talking to agents tomorrow so it's officially football season!!

Btw, moving middlestadt to lw with Larsson centering was brilliant. Move a guy who's finally playing well to a line with a center with no offensive skill. Brilliant move housley. Maybe he's a good teacher but he's way over his head. Perhaps that's what you get when you hire a guy who's highest head coaching level was high school

Short side shocking. That was a penalty but I've seen about 10 worse infractions uncalled this game. This is the worst effort I've seen this year. Unbelievable and inexcusable

Prob is ulmmark has been worse. His stats since November have been really bad. We have a serious goaltending prob withoit an easy solution. UKL (or whatever his initial are) is 2+ years away. Btw, can't believe I'm watching this embarrassment and shoot the puck Jack!!

No, watch the play. Nelson has the puck in the zone and instead not of banking the puck off the boards and out he gets cute and tries a spin around move. He gets checked, loses the Puck.and next thing it's in our net. Low I team. Girgs gives away the puck no on goal 3 and hutton quits on the play.
