I didn't just leave I was done, graduated. I didn't stay after that game to drink with my friends.

That Pittsburgh game ended my college career. I remember watching that puck go in packing my stuff up not saying a word to my roomates then leaving for good.

Did anyone get hurt in tonights game? Really hope we made it outta the city of brotherly love all healthy and Hetcht can go against the sens.

If Im not mistake I was drunk as hell in a bar where beers where 50 cent in Lycoming Pa for that game. I remember cheering with the only other Buffalo fan there while the rest of the place wanted to kill me. I was getting served underage up to that point, afterwards I left drunk thrown out for having no ID. This is of course the Philly game of '98

I will be in the chat room and hopefully someone watching can give me the blow by blow. I may have to leave early however because of a recital that my girl has good thing I have the XM i can be in the car until it starts.

I believe we will see Esche in net to start for the Cryers. I don't think that this will last more than 2 games if the sabres can skate like we know they can. Ken scares me too as well as that @#&^% bobby clark. I can see them "stealing" away at least one game when the refs put away the whistle and revert back to the old style of the NHL. If the sabres can skate and get behind the slow Cryer defense (Hatcher is slow as hell now) the sabres should win in 6 games.

The problem I would have with this game looking at it from the Sabres side would be who do I start in net? Do you rest Millar and start Biron or play Miller and say the hell to rest and ride the hot hand into the playoffs? Tuff call for me, I would say play Miller hope the guys show up in front of him and keep his confidence up but Im not that one behind the bench.

Ill go with the classic 3-0 Sabres, first shut out for Miller.... What that happened yesterday? Oh where have I been :P

should rest Lyudman or how ever you spell his name. The sabres need to realize that the playoffs start now. 4 games left now all against playoff teams other than the leafs which should be a playoff feel to it.

I was at that devils game such a good feeling to see all 1,000 devils fans leaving upset.

I hoping the sabres play 40 minutes tonight instead of the 30 they played against the Leafs. Still a big L again tonight for Biron. Lets keep Miller out until he can be in games he has a shot in.

Atlanta losing tonight we don't need the point. I say we go for the win.

the power play will make or break this team. they need to fix this to go deep in the playoffs. Oh and Max just scored on the power play

ok my take on the game from watching them for the first time. They played much better than they have been. Effort from a lot more players than against the rangers, however some still feel like they can stand around or next to there teammates. The first goal was BS, we have good pressure in the devils zone but a sabres was tripped up when the devils started the rush up the ice, which should been called in the "new" NHL. Then I guess it was Tillander (sp) lost his man on the back door just long enough for him to get the tip. Biron not at fault at all. The rest of that period and the second was a good effort by the boys but we couldn't get anything high quality on goal. We NEED to stop cross ice passes outta our own zone, soooo many give aways on those also the passing outta the zone needs to be better. Either the devils just knew our break out or the sabres just didn't make it clean enough. I saw a reoccuring play the devils tried which teams might be beating us on but I don't know since I don't watch all the games. They run one guy near our net and a second in the high slot where the sabres run the center. Now this player from the devil screens the shot or interfers with the sabres from getting to lose pucks on the boards. This is where the battle was for this game. For the 3rd period the sabres where showing that they played a game the day before. I don't remember the second goal to well but I didn't think marty was to blame for that one either. The 3rd was the worst he had no clue all on him. A few general comments, Greir is a waste, he is slow and can't be with drury. Drury can and should center a more powerful line, once he passed to greir to take it in the zone and turned it over, he is a killer. Also Pyatt has a good hard shot too bad he just doesn't seem in the right place at the right time to make a play. Lastly I saw a sabres fan leaving from my section last night 234 and a few devils fans where saying some dirty launguage lets say :) . Best part of the game was a sabres fan with this "Were in 4th place!" A large Sabres fan group for this game which was nice to see.

I think tonight we see Biron and Im not happy about that I really wanted to see Miller live.

Believe I saw something that said Connolly is day-to-day and Hecht is still weeks away, both are experiencing soreness in the knees.

Take over the game completely, the rangers had the puck in our zone for the last 6 minutes of the second!!! This team needs a wake up call a lot of standing aroud and not moving. Where is the battle to the lose pucks???

Ill have to go home and check but i believe its row 12 or something like that. I remember when you could spend 73 dollars and get a seat 17 rows off the ice. I guess the devils just thought the lock out was a fluke maybe thats why no one goes to there games.
