‘“We chased them all over the ice,” Flyers’ captain Peter Forsberg said.’
'Were you satisfied with your performance at the camp and did you get any feedback on it? FS: There was a feedback-interview with everyone that joined the camp. They seemed to be quite happy with what they have seen, but they told me that I have to work hard on improving my strength and stamina, but of course I did already know that and I try to work as hard as possible to improve here.'
'The Sabres blew the game open in the second and started quickly when Thomas Vanek would knock in his own rebound on a rush just 37 seconds into the period. Buffalo would notch two power play goals one minute apart from Jaroslav Spacek and Chris Drury. It was Spacek’s first goal as a Sabre. The Sabres would pour it on scoring three more goals before the end of the second period, taking a 6-0 lead into the third.'

As if the 9-1 score blazing from the Jumbotron wasn't enough.'
'The Paychex founder, who bought the bankrupt team in 2003, has used his marketing skills to attract sellout crowds. In fact, on Tuesday, NHL.com announced that the new Sabres jerseys are the best-selling in the league.'
‘”It was one of those nights where everything went our way.”‘
