Botterill leads the AHL with 36 goals, and has 56 points in 61 games with Rochester this season. He appeared in one game with the Sabres in December.

WGR Sportsradio 55 has learned that Tom Golisano submitted a bid to buy the Buffalo Sabres back on February 14th. The NHL accepted that bid the very next day.

NHL accepts Golisano’s bid to buy Sabres

According to WGR Sportsradio in Buffalo, the NHL has accepted former gubernatorial candidate Tom Golisano’s bid to buy the financially strapped team, TSN reported on its Web site Thursday.
