The state of New York has declared there is no public funding available to assist in Hamisters bid to gain control of the team and sources told FOXSports.com Saturday that Hamister is fast running out of funding options and likely wont meet a Monday deadline to sign an agreement to purchase the assets of the club.

It was a week of 3 goals. The Buffalo Sabres played 3 games and got a total of 1 goal in each game. Two overtime losses were sandwiched around a horrible 5-1 loss to the Nashville Predators. Three losses, three goals, two points. That was the week that the Sabres would soon like to forget.
