GreenDice
Can someone explain plus/minus rating in less than 100 words? I am a little confused. Thomas Vanek scored two goals last night and Tampa Bay scores two goals. I thought he will be at worst even. He wound up with a -1 in the game. Did I miss something? Thanks in advance. Two or less
If you score a PP goal, NOONE on the ice gets a +. You only get a PLUS if you score a even stregeth goal and i don't think you get a MINUS for being on the ice of a PK. Vanek was on the ice for 2 of St Louis' goals, and Vanek scored one 5v5 and one on the PP... the PP doesn't count as a +.
Seannie34
You dont get a minus for being on the pk when a goal is scored. You do get a plus if a goal is scored when you are short handed and the you get a minus if the other team scores a shorthanded goal. And you can obviously only get a plus or a minus if you are on the ice when the goal happens.
