The Penguins sale is heating up. In order to stay in Pittsburgh, the 45-year-old Mellon Arena needs a replacement or reconstruction. There are many interested cities, and four with officially interested buyers. Two buyers groups want the team to stay in Pittsburgh, but one group just had their offer declined. Another says he might keep the team there, but is investigating Hartford.
