I know Drury was again clutch with the PP goal, and Numminen, Lydman and Tallinder again played unbelievably, I do not mean to sell the vets short ... But the Roy-Max-Vanek line was our best in the third period, Gaustad won big draws, and Roy and Pominville team up for the game winner .... how many coaches even put TWO rookies out there together to kill a penalty in OT? BOTH of them started the season in Rochester .... and Pominville makes that play to end it ... it's like Drury has been saying for months, no fear. It was a good play even if Alfredsson steps up and rides him out, because the worst thing that happens is he takes it behind their net on the PK and makes them go 200 feet ... but still, to see the opening and be ready to take it to the net, not a typical play, rookie or not.
