PTS Posted April 26, 2006 Report Share Posted April 26, 2006 #1: I should get full props for labelling Campbell's hit as "The Hit". I did it before anyone in this thread. Now every media outlet is referring to it as "The Hit". #2: I got a great t-shirt idea. Picture this: the front of the shirt is a silhouette of Campbell in the process of laying the boom on Umberger with the words "The Hit" above it and the date 04.22.2006 somewhere spliced in. Only instead of just a photo of the hit, you could show the OLN video on the card with JR's voiceover (with a simple "Merry Christmas" on the next screen of the card). Seriously, I have accessed OLN's highlight of Campbell's hit and JR's call at least once a day since Sunday. Awesome. It's what playoff hockey is all about- even in the "new NHL."
