But then guys start coming back and they get better with almost every game leading to the playoffs. The points they have racked up already assure them of being in the playoffs. Winning the division is still very attainable as well. I think it's a matter of whether they'll be a 1, 2, or 3 seed at this point. Which really won't matter if they are the team of destiny we think they are. They'll likely have to go through two of these three regardless: Tampa, Pittsburgh, NJ. In the big picture, the W-L record for these next 6-7 games is not going to be important. It's the team that emerges on the other side. I've got a feeling we're going to like that team a lot.
