Seriously though... Novotny should be back at the end of next week at the earliest, most likely sometime after the 2nd week of march Connolly should begin his skating sometime before the end of this week... Hell, we might as well just play him on saturday! Spacek should return in 2 weeks at the earliest Kotalik is done till the end of march Afinogenov is done till the end of march at the earliest Paille is down for a couple of weeks With Novotny probably the earliest to return, do we call up defense and move paetsch to wing? Do we ride the storm with another amerk forward? Do we finally make a trade? In all honesty, novotny should return a few games before spacek and paille. That's 3 forwards returning, if we assume paetsch can continue to play forward. With that said, the Sabres sitll have to pull off a weekend series against the senators. If they can do that, i'll officially submit my name to the NHL league offices as a silver engraver for hire. In summary, nobody said this would be easy...
