This is more of an off-season type thread, but considering how horrible things are I figured we need the distraction. This is a survivor poll designed to determine the board's favourite Sabres of all-time. It works like this: I post a list of a bunch of Sabres from an era of the franchise. You vote for your least favourite Sabres on the list After a few days, I close the poll, cut the guys with the most votes and start again Once the list gets small enough I add another era of players. Last two Sabres standing from any given group get a promotion to finals. And we continue our way through the history of the franchise. You do not have to vote from each group. The groups are only important in terms of promotions. Sabres will make it to the finals without being promoted. Technically, you can vote for as many as you want, but if you aim for three it makes the game work better. There are about 120-130 Sabres included. I've tried to stick with people who were with the franchise for a long time and/or played prominent roles. Write-in votes welcome. If I've forgotten anyone who gets a lot of support, it's easy enough to add someone. Names in spoiler. There are no other criteria for voting, other than your love for a given Sabre, or lack thereof. We begin with Sabres from the end of the Darcy era and the beginning of the Pegula era.
