  1. montreal goal off a deflection, not much biron could do. jillison doesnt sound like he is playing that well.
  2. yep, but they need a strong effort tonight to prove to me that they havent lost their ability to win consistently, and to prove that, now that there is game tape on teams, they havent been figured out. Lindy must step up too with a good game plan that puts us in a position to win.
  3. awww sheeit. buff chasing in its own end. 2:40 to go. that blows. outshot 17-5 in the third. you cant win that way.
  4. on the radio (i just tuned in with 9 min to go) thye are praising biron for some sweet saves.
  5. isnt a bit early to say this game in early Nov is key to whether they will make the playoffs in April or not?
  6. Ottawa has so much firepower. 4 goals for havlik.
  7. whoooooooooooooooooo!!!!!! kotalik goes uptown!
  8. drury ends a long drought. 5-2 is getting respectable.

  13. pyatt is out, campbell in..and playing on the wing?? must have been on the PP.
  14. No game in the nhl is easily won. In the new NHL, if we can stay out of the box like we have been, keep getting solid goaltending, then we have a good shot at a W on any given night. Power plays are the key, and we have been disciplined and avoided giving up too many man advantages.
  15. drury couldnt buy a goal. too bad, coulda been a slump breaker. sabes stayed out of the box in the 3rd - the key to this game!
  16. B's should be buzzing tonight. They are in the bottom of the NE division, with the most GP, and need a W. http://www.sportsline.com/nhl/standings Ottawa and Nash (???!!) are unbeaten.
  17. oh s**t, deflection from the pt, miler was screened. down by 1. 12:50 Martin Gelinas, Slap Shot - Assist: Mike Van Ryn
  18. 07:12 Nathan Horton (3), Slap Shot - Assists: Rostislav Olesz and Mike Van Ryn
  19. Simon Gagne just scored his 7th goal this year for Philly - the guy is gonna have 1 heck of a year playing with Desjardins and Peter Forsberg. Flyers up 4-1 on Isles. Ottawa is working over the B's too.
  20. Too early to tell how good we really are. And if we continue winning, no doubt teams will start scouting our tendencies as more game film emerges re: how we are succeeding. I'm going with the cautiously optimistic (as opposed to my all in for the bills...um ...once again hoodwinked there) Very fun to follow them so far. Still waiting for Vanke's first, and for Connoly to finish a scoring chance for once.
