No coach will be fired right now, and no big in-season moves. Best we can hope for is if the season goes off the rails in a big way, they have no choice but to make major off-season changes.

Don't be so sure. The Sabres scoring issue has to be resolved. Either the guys start scoring and winning or changes will be made. They made a big commitment bringing Hall and Staal here to get this offense going and it isn't working. RK is the holdover and he needs to show progress and we are going the other way.

Injuries will have the biggest impact on who gets in or not. If all 4 top teams are healthy, then jumping in to the top 4 will be very difficult. If someone goes down from a top 4 team, it opens the door....for who....🤔
