Hopefully the finals are more competitive than either of these conference finals...
Dallas and Carolina are clearly outclassed big-time.

Complaining about the lack of change off the ice has masked what I see as a real willful blindness around here to a number of things on the actual roster:
- The level of frustration showed by Tage at his year-ender
- The trade deadline whispers of high-level Dahlin meetings
- The number of winning hard minutes Byram played and the hole trading him is going to create, along with his switch in agents
- The whispers of Peterka being less than happy with the city prior to the deadline, and the reputation of his agent
- The struggles of multiple prize core young pieces at the same time: Luukkonen, Quinn, Cozens, Samuelsson and Power
- The body language of Josh Norris after being traded to Buffalo, coupled with the risk of his contract
- The panicked overpay they gave Jason Zucker for a likely 33 points and 63 games next year
- The panicked overpay they gave Jordan Greenway for for a likely 18 points and 58 games next year
- The determined attempts of Alex Tuch to avoid addressing questions about his future in Buffalo.
There are consequences to sticking with a failed coaching and management staff.
Status quo isn't going to provide stability, it's going to turn these cracks into holes.
We're looking at 20/21 all over again.
Tells me we still have an immature team that stubbornly thinks they can succeed with the work they are willing to put in rather than the work required for success.

How does this even count when some of the best players in the world are still playing in the playoffs?
Seems like this comes with an asterisk every year since the best players aren't always available

Outside one terrible period, Edmonton has dominated the Stars.
-
Well, they are competing against the Bandits for fanbase and losing badly
-
Florida is just running roughshod over the Hurricanes. The series is a joke.
The score is 16-4 over the 3 games and Florida has never scored less than 5 goals in any of the games and Hurricanes have never scored more than 2.
They are getting shellacked.

6-0 3rd quarter.
Awesome !
Party about to commence in 30 minutes or less!!
-
Make it 11-6! Looks like the Bandits might be pulling away...
Now 12-6!!
13-6!! Bandits just stomping the Rush into a mud hole now!!
-
Bandits come out of the half strong to answer the 3 goal run by The Rush with a 3 goal run of their own...
Bandits Leading 10-6 with about 5:30 left in the 3rd.
-
Bandits looked like they were going to pull away taking a 7-3 lead but then the Rush closed the half with 3 straight goals to narrow it down to 7-6...
Setting up for a barnburner of a second half...
-
What a choke job by the Oilers to give up 5!! unanswered 3rd period goals to turn a 3-1 lead into a 6-3 loss.
-
As usual Toronto folds like a cheap tent in high pressure big game situations.

Unbelievable goaltending that whole fourth Q. Why a fun game, place was rocking. Wish Sabres games were that much fun….
They once were...

ONLY ONE player has SURPASSED 200 points and that player is the Great Dhane Smith.
The current Head Coach for the Bandits, who happens to be the greatest box lacrosse player of all time, REACHED 200 career playoff points.
Reaching 200 is NOT SURPASSING 200 points.
Yup, my bad...reading comprehension was lacking yesterday for some reason 😂😂

Don't care who they SAY is the best goalie. The ACTUAL best goalie put on a clinic after the 3 minute mark. No goals at all given up for the last 1-1/2 quarters. With some absolute highlight reel saves.
My boy MacKay continued to show us why they've moved him from transition to (nearly) full-time O with 4 of the Bandits 1st 8 goals.
Smith set the all-time playoff record for scoring as he became the 1st player ever to surpass 200 playoff points in a career. He finished the night with a hatty and 5 helpers. Buchanan also had a hatty. Byrne and Frazier rounded out the Bandit scoring.
Can take their 3rd consecutive and 7th overall championship Sunday night at 8PM Eastern in Saskatoon. Game will be on the same networks this one was (ESPN+, NLL+, TSN, TSN+).
LET'S GO BAN-DITS!!!!!!!!
Not true, Tavares, his head coach also has 200+ points but Smith passed him and has 4 fewer playoff games
-
Bandits finish it off with an Empty Netter 12-10!
Held Saskatchewan scoreless for the last almost 22 minutes of the game and scored the last 4 goals!

Not looking great right now...Bandits been behind since the get go down 2 goals multiple times...10-9 currently.
6:30 left in the 3rd quarter..
Bandits trying to seize momentum but Saskatchewan constantly answers.
EDIT: 11-10 Bandits now...that was quick...

Dhane Smith NLL OPoY. But Saskatchewan has two players with post season awards, including goalie of the year.

It's going to be tough having both the Amerks and Bandits playing at the same time tonight.
Until proven otherwise Vinc is the best NLL playoff goalie of all time.

Caps are sorry...get 18 shots a game and go down in 5...
Talk about going out with a whimper.

Almost time to kick some ass tomorrow night in Banditland!!

He was horrible as a hockey pbp guy, but is VERY good in that same role with the Bandits.
Good for him.
At least he gets to call championship wins unlike the other Buffalo teams...

Comical how Rodrigues wasn't good enough for the Sabres but he has been good enough to play on multiple playoff teams and win a cup of two.
