Really only one spot open next to Power, Jok goes down to third pair and you still have the other two men. That spot will be a VET, not a Rookie. Jok will get Stillman or Lyubushkin on any given night.

How many Pipelines get RAIDED as quickly as Rochester past two years? The Problem started with Murray, he got Veterans for his picks and didn't build Rochester. Add many HC who didn't like certain players and we were DEFICIENT in Goal, Wingers, Center and from Murray. J-Bot got us better on Winger/Center and a couple trades. Adams has done the rest. We are NOT deficient anymore. No real step up to Sabres without getting rid of a player with Trade. Gonna cut Middlestat, Olofsson, Peterka, Bryson? You may WANT to but that is NOT happening. Sabres are NOT far off. Top 5 Goaltender gets them there immediately (LEVI?). RW Vet D for Power helps immediately. Vet winger for Cozen or Krebs helps immediately. Quinn rizing up helps, Getting Greenway helps, getting Stillman helps. Stop acting like the Youngest Team in Hockey isn't getting closer!!!

Boterill got Dahlin and Samuelsonn so the problem is where are our VETERAN D from Murray? Stillman is 24, it is a start

Bryson is a offensive-defensiveman, DEPTH. He can't be paired with Dahlin or Power. Joks will be 3rd O-defensiveman but we need a good pairing for Power.

Unless Krebs doesn't mature like Middlestat didn't for 5 years

Who else has two of the best offensive-defensiveman that are this YOUNG. No one. Fixing a stay at home physical guy is the EASIEST part to do. NOT the Sabres Problem right now. Scoring consistently on 2nd and 3rd lines is. Sabres win scoring 4. Lose if 5 or more go in goal. Consistent Goaltending fixes this. Sabres just need some toughness and to get older so they have experience. We are close, I like Stillman and Greenway added. Just sit back and watch this TEAM grow. We can add depth in Offseason. Going to be Krebs or Kulich

NONSENSE, two 1st overall players on defense were drafted. One by Adams. Our weakness has been scoring, Wingers and Center since we traded O'Reilly. Goaltending is our biggest problem overall now and injuries. Stillman has added D depth. We need someone permanently to be with Power and stay at home. Jok can be the Offensive D for third pair. We have depth for D now but it can get better with Goaltending getting above .9 save percentage

That goes for any drafting. Sabres got two 1st overall in draft that will help them for 10 years. Goaltender is where we can get better QUICKLY Stillman a good pickup for now with Greenway. We have gotten stronger.

Sabres have Centers and Wingers to trade for D. Always 1 Dimensional D available. We have 3 Offensive/Defensivemen for a three lines and backup. We need 1 more strong stay at home blocking D man

Not necessarily, they don't have to be stars, don't have to have offense. Defense is defense if you stay back. Have to have Athleticism, have to be strong, fearless.

TNT is 6'7" , quite a different type of player. Middlestat is NOT doing anything tonite.

Didn't ask about VO. Olofsson is a luxury player. Goals only, no defense. Maybe he can play with Greenway. If NOT he needs to be moved for any draft pick you can get.

Exactly my point, assists are 2nd, 3rd pts. Whats more important 20 goals 30 assists or 10 goals 40 assists when 1-2 players can be made an assist on a goal

70 pts come from Cozens, Quinn, Krebs, etc... Not Kulich, Savoie, they are your rookies at 20-40 pts But I will bet Kulich or Savoie get to 30 goals before Middlestat does.

We know Kulich is producing Big time in the likes of better than Quinn, he cant stay in Amerks, that is development. Savoie if ready will be up but Sabres have time. Middlestat is about money. Can't pay everyone. Have Dahlin Power that in 3 years will both be $10-12 mil guys/yr. Have Quinn/Krebs needing to be paid something in $4-5 mil/yr range in two years. Tuch will be due in two years at $6-8 mil. No room for 10 goals/40pts at $4-6 mil, NOT on this team. Don't think he sucks, just think there are cheaper alternatives and Sabres will need cheap options 5-6 years from now READY, that means draft picks now to make that happen. We have NO defensive backups.

Middlestat can have a place at Jost and Hino expense. Kulich and/or Savoie will be here sometime next year Have to decide Olofsson, Middlestat, Hino and Jost cause Peterka too eventually will also be on top if he discovers his speed and shot together. I expect Stillman and Greenway are here next year playing for toughness Wondering about Girg and Okoposso. I still see a place for them developing Kulich and Savoie

More when Sabres made 2nd line Center, he FAILED We now have NEW Prospects with high ceilings. Where Casey is will be a 4-5 mil player when you can do this at 1 mil with all the Sabres Prospects. Not needed by Sabres now, that is the point, get picks for 5-6 years from now when you have 6-7 high paid guys and will need cheap answers.

The better Middlestat produces the better the trade. He will be a 6 mil forward if he produces soon. Time to move him and bring up cheaper players with years to give cheap and a cheap fist contract. Only way you keep Tuch, Tage, Skinner, Cozens, Dahlin and Power. Even Krebs and Quinn someday will NOT fit on Roster. Someone gets traded to fit them. Have money for 4-5 plus 7 mil guys, that is it.
