This hire stinks

Unbelievable that they hired him back. Sigh

Great and when Ruff gets fired again they can hire Nolan back
And when Nolan gets fired again they can hire Granato back
What a cheap, lame, no due diligence done hire
Awful

New coach could change everything
Looking forward to it

Everybody

Adams probly knows this upcoming season is his swan song. If the Sabres miss again next year, he should without question be fired
He seems to understand this, finally

He could walk in and tell me I am the greatest person in the world and shower me with more compliments than grains of sand on a beach and tbh it wouldn't matter. They either fix this mess or they don't. The words ultimately mean 0.
Yes, hence why I said the second sentence

Sounds like Adams is saying all the right things. Hopefully it's not a sounds too good to be true scenario

If it's not Gallant or someone of that ilk, the Sabres could end up being worse off
If they did procure Gallant, I'd be excited every day until the new season starts no question

Why are people so fixated on Peca? Was assistant coach in Rochester and now assistant for the Rangers. We don’t know how good he will eventually be but now is not the time for another first time coach.
You'd have to ask them about Peca, bub. I said in my post I'd like Gallant

Why are some people so fixated on Ruff?
He was here 258854445 years, no cups. Rode Dominick Haseks coat tails most of the time. Overused Miller, didn't handle goaltenders well overall. Botched the gameplan against Boston in 2010. Too many men penalty comes to mind, (sigh). The lost goes on
Did nothing in Dallas with a talented roster, even missed the playoffs with them.
Recently fired again
If they hire Ruff this is the same concept as when they traded back for Pominville. A lazy, cheap fan appeasing move. Hard no
I'd like Gallant above all else, big time hard no to Ruff and Appert or anything like that
Its time to be serious

You don't like winning?
In all seriousness, you wouldn't consider overpays now? You wouldn't move non roster players to make the on ice team better? You just want to believe and keep waiting? What would you do differently?
He probly won't answer
It's easier for him to criticize than to come up with his own ideas
Weak

Sure, why not. This current team has yet to make the playoffs and the arrow certainly isn't pointing to playoffs as of now

He's gonna score 30. I don't see why his agent wouldn't be lined up at KA's trough. How do you justify long term deals for players who did virtually nothing at the NHL level then bridge Peterka?
This is a great point. I'm still not sure where the faith came from in signing Samuelsson to that contract.
That's a bad contract in hindsight and it was bad to begin with.

Penguinos not going down without a fight.
Crosby a legend. Weren't the Sabres close to getting him through the lottery? As in they did have high chances that year?
It would have been nice to get a generational forward with our number 1 picks in any of these past years. Sigh

Maybe if Skinner spent a little less time on making between two stalls and a little more time taking hockey seriously he'd probly still stink

Since the trade, Casey is 4G 3A in 11 GP, +3. Not much press on him to share since the trade, but Aves 8-3 in last 11 GP. Seems he’s fitting in nicely.
Thats great man can you tell me how MacKinnon is doing too

So you don't think there are players in the NHL who have high hockey IQ, but not elite skills?
He's 18. Nobody can say how good this guy will be, but I think he's shown enough to not be considered a bust.
He's probably closer to Derek Roy than Girgensons. He's not going to be as physical as Girgensons, and won't be a 4th liner. At the same time, he's probably smarter than Roy.
How can this be quantified, already?
