Remember when Tuch was first traded to Buffalo, he sat out thirty games with shoulder surgery...the shoulder is "upper body" too...

I'm concerned about Tuch and his longterm "soreness." What does this "longterm soreness" mean? It's been over a month since he was held out of some of the last pre-season games.

Tage is getting better at using his huge body to block off defenders. How do you defend against that? He's also getting better at passing and setting up goals. He's also finding new ways to score. Of course he's improved at PK. Don't forget, he's a beast at shoot-outs too. But teams are catching on. They're stuffing him on the pp one-timers. Has he scored on a one-timer yet this year?

(+/-) Luck, recklessness, confidence, play style, excessive youth or age, fighting, hockey IQ and injury history also factor into it, besides strength/conditioning.

If he pans out he could be a replacement for Greenway.
Why does Greenway need to be replaced? He's got tools, he's playing well and he's on an upward trajectory.

But there was a point when Bochy was a 0 times WS winner.
It would be an interesting study if someone was to track all the teams in different sports that have won a championship for the very first time after decades of losing or coming close. Then see who coached those teams. I would bet dollars to donuts that the coaches of the winning teams had previously won championships with other teams before that.

I liked the original movie with Bela Lugosi 👍🏼
A great old horror film. Kind of sickening actually.

The Key Bank Center aka The House of Pain.

I'm seeing Greenway actually smile these days. His imprisonment in the boring Minnesota system is over and so seems to be the depression he had when first arriving here.

From Larry Brooks of the NY Post:
QuoteFinally, bigger disappointment thus far, A) the Sabres who don’t seem to be prepared; or, B) the Flames, who don’t have Darryl Sutter to blame anymore?
Perhaps you would prefer to cast your vote for, C) the Wild, still a season away from Mats Zuccarello’s two-year extension kicking in.
Don't seem to be prepared, eh?

I've watched Sabre hockey on TV for many years. I saw both the Malarchuk and Zednik games on TV . I don't wish to subject myself to this tragic event so I refuse to watch it. It's inconceiveable to me for someone to intentionally injure an opponent with a skate by lifting his leg to neck level. I've read varying opinions, that someone kicked his foot etc. I'm not sure how someone can judge if this was intentional or not. Still I refuse to see it. Too traumatic for me.

The Sharks are 0-8-1, and are losing 5-0 to the Canucks. They have scored 9 goals all year. I'd have to think that Mike Grier is skating on thin ice. He might be next after Dorion.

KA needs his feet to be held to the fire to address the goalie situation. He's incredibly stubborn with his vision to do nothing but stick with his three-headed goaltending situation.

I Hate to Lose, Season 12, Episode 8.
(When will this show be canceled?)

Put him in the net whenever the Sabres feel they can score seven.

Any team owned by Pegula are destined to be losers. He meddles, he skips RJ Night, he makes all the wrong moves plus he has bad karma. Doesn't matter what sport.

This one sucks because we felt like the better team.
You have to assume that we are better than no one from the start and go from there. I think you'd be safe to think that.

Good thing the Sabres won the other night in those slick goathead uniforms. Now we can mothball the winning black and reds and go back to the losing blue and golds.

Keep your head up out for Arber Xhekaj. Would not recommend Krebsie to take this animal on.
