He is NOT in the Phil Housley mold at all.
A friend and I were sitting in the reds at the Aud on one of the end scoreboards. It was 1985 or 86. A lady in the row behind us was shouting out Philip-this and Philip-that, but I never made the connection. At one point in the game, my friend yelled at Housley to hit one of the opposing players with his purse. That lady tore into us. It was Phil's mom.

We will not win against the Jets and Preds as they are both physical heavy forechecking teams. We will play well as they can but we are a talent based team, not a physical team. Need to find that middle ground of talent and physicality.
After years of Dahlin being targeted and not having the muscle mass or experience to respond, I love that he's dishing it out and I hope that he continues to do so. He's setting the example for the rest of the team to follow.

I'm glad that Joker's back. I also welcome another look at Asplund and Vinnie. Quinn and JJP will benefit from the perspective that comes with taking a step back for a bit. They were so good a few games back that I kept forgetting their rookie status. Bryson is addition by subtraction, to be honest. We'll see what Comrie brings against a fairly potent offense. DG should have them ready. LFG!

Overall, the effort simply isn't there tonight. Even the offensive chances we are creating have no fluidity to them.

Going out at a young age, but 17 seasons racked up takes a tole. Not to mention all the CLs.
Bale was a Welsh and UK all-time great. I'll miss watching him, for sure.
